“Fine, I’m paranoid.” She lifted her head. “I’m just scared I’m going to lose
him for good next time.”
    Lauren
sighed. “He’s too stubborn to leave you before seeing you settled down.” She
took a sip of her drink. “Speaking of which, what on Earth did you do to our
normally rational and orderly Dom?”
    Sabella
drew a blank. She didn’t have a clue what her friend was talking about. “Excuse
me? What exactly are you talking about?”
    “Ethan.
I saw him at the Subbie night last night.” Lauren winked at her. “Dear Lord,
I’ve never seen him so tense in the entire time I’ve been a member of New
Beginnings.”
    Surprise
broadsided her. “What are you talking about?” He’d seemed in control when
he’d left me, despite the erection tenting his pants.
    “There
was an incident with a new Dom who’d just recently purchased a membership. I
would’ve tried him myself, but what he wanted was way beyond my limits.”
“Really? You actually found a Dom who was
too kinky for you?” Sabella found it hard to believe. Her friend had dabbled in
everything from knife play to electrical play and seemed to have found
enjoyment in all of them.
    Lauren
shrugged her shoulders. “Well when the guy brings out a barb tipped, single tail whip and wants to whip more than just my ass with it.
Not to mention he wanted to defecate on me.” She shuddered. “I don’t do
excrement, no matter how sexy I think the Dom might be. A total turn off.”
    Sabella
wrinkled her nose as she stirred the ice in her water with her straw. “ Ew… gross….So did this guy find a willing submissive?”
    “Yeah,
a pretty little Latina submissive who wasn’t exactly new to the scene, but in
the end had no idea what shit she was getting into - literally.”
    Horrified
humor washed over Sabella. “Oh no…tell me he didn’t…”
    Lauren
leaned in close. “Yep, he did. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man move as fast
as Ethan did. He was none too happy when the Dom ignored the girl’s safeword,
and insisted she be his human toilet.”
“Ewww.” Sabella sipped at her drink. “Well
I suppose that would put any Dom in a bad mood. The safeword is one part of the
scene that’s sacred.”
    “Too
true. But he
was…edgy before the incident.” Lauren lifted her brow in a theatrical way. “In
fact a little birdie told me someone got a certain Dom all hot and bothered -
before leaving him high and dry.” She sipped her drink. “That wouldn’t be you
would it, Bella-mía?”
    Her
face flushed as she remembered her halting request. One where she’d asked to
give him the same relief as he’d given her. It had bruised her pride when he’d
softly refused, standing on his promise to her. “I…well, not intentionally.
When I agreed to be his model, I laid down a few hard limits. I told him there
wouldn’t be any intimacy between us that didn’t have to do with the
presentation.”
    Lauren
shifted in her seat and groaned. “Don’t tell me you gave one of the owners of
New Beginnings an ultimatum? I thought I taught you better. A Dom wants a
submissive who teases but ultimately delivers.”
    Sabella
played with the napkin wrapped silverware, rolling them across the surface of
the table. “It wasn’t exactly an ultimatum, girl. Every submissive has their
limits and for the short period I’m helping…Ethan, I’d be stupid not to make
sure he’s aware of them.”
    “There’s
a difference between telling him you don’t do asphyxiation or golden showers,
and setting a stipulation that punishes both of you.”
    Sabella
opened her mouth to protest, but Lauren held up a hand. “Don’t give me that
bullshit you’re not. I know you.” She leaned forward on her elbows. “By putting
these limits on your time together, you’re not only protecting yourself, but
also allowing yourself some pleasure without the risk.”
    Sighing,
Sabella finally abandoned the silverware. “You know, you sure know how to kick
a girl
