capturing her lips in a deep kiss. Her tongue exploring my mouth, teeth gently nipping at my lips.
Eight months ago I was drifting through life. Work and playing with my band at the Blue Whiskey were what gave me purpose, then I saw the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen staring up at me from the stage, and she made me see the world in a whole new light. Now my purpose in life is to be her man, to love and support her, and make her every dream come true like she had made mine.
“Jax.” Her moans turn to whimpers as her orgasm takes her over. Body shaking beneath me, her pussy gripping and milking me to come along with her.
My hand cups her cheek, my forehead pressing against hers, watching as the pleasure takes her over. This is my favorite part, watching her come, seeing the pleasure burn in her eyes and knowing it's all because of me. Hearing her screams sets me off, I explode hard and deep inside her.
Lexi let’s out a satisfied hum as she softly kisses me. I roll onto my side taking her with me, keeping myself fully seated inside her and my lips pressed to hers. It feels good to have her here with me, making love in the building we created together. As long as I still have breath in my body, I will love Lexi and the life we build together.

Chapter Eighteen

“I have another surprise for you,” I whisper against Jax’s lips. We lay in a tangle of limbs, kissing and touching on an old paint stained tarp in the middle of the restaurant. It’s been ages since we’ve had a night like this, and I plan on savoring every minute of it.
“What could be better than a night all to ourselves?”
I wiggle free from his arms and reach for his shirt to slip it on, but Jax rips it from my hand.
“Oh no you don’t. If you are going to leave my arms you will be naked, so I can admire the gorgeous body I’ve been missing,” he says with a cheeky smile.
“Yes, sir,” I tease. I stand up from the floor and walk over to the picnic basket I brought. Thankfully, most of the lights are off in the front of the restaurant, so no one walking by can see me right now. I kneel down and open the lid. Searching through the plastic containers filled with our dinner, I find the small black box I hid inside. I grab the box and walk back over to the tarp where Jax is sprawled out, proudly displaying his incredible tattooed covered naked body with his hands resting behind his head. He is so damn sexy and handsome and he is all fucking mine.
I join Jax on the tarp and set the box on his stomach. He picks up the box and sits up in front of me. Holding up the box to his ear, he gives it a little shake, trying to get some clue as to what's inside.
“Come on just open it,” I say getting impatient.
He gives me a sideways glance as he pulls open the lid. Slowly he peels back the white tissue paper and lifts out the black and white fabric tucked away inside. I wait with bated breath as he opens it revealing that it is a baby onesie with the words Future lead singer of Waking the Fallen printed on the front.
“Lex, what is this? Are you trying to tell me you’re pregnant?” His voice is shaky and his eyes widen as he looks over at me.
“Yes. I’m pregnant. I haven’t been feeling well the past couple weeks. At first I thought it was just stress about the restaurant, but it wasn’t getting any better, so I went to the doctor today and she said I’m pregnant.” I search his face trying to gage his response. My heart is beating out of my chest, the way it was when I was sitting in the doctor’s office staring at the test results.
Jax drops the onesie on the tarp then reaches over, sliding his arm around my waist, pulling me into his lap. His other hand appears between us, resting on my stomach.
“We’re having a baby,” he softly chants over and over while caressing my stomach.
“Are you happy about this? I know we haven’t had the kid talk, and I honestly wasn’t sure I wanted them before I met you. The moment
