to look him in the eyes. "I know I
love you."
Tom's face softened. "I love you
too."
Frank stroked Tom's skin. "Whatever happens
tonight, we'll have us. This," he gestured between them, "is
unbreakable."
Tom nuzzled their noses together. "I believe
you."
Frank could only hope that was
true.

Lexi blew out a noisy breath and swept the
strands of hair that had escaped her ponytail out of her eyes. Her
heart beat had slowed a considerable amount but it was still higher
than when she'd walked into the Zumba class. She gathered up her
water bottle and towel and joined a group of classmates heading out
into the hallway.
As they skipped down the stairs, Lexi tried
not to feel jealous of all the Valentine's Day plans being
described in great detail. Dinner at exclusive restaurants. Tickets
to the ballet. Gourmet chocolates. Dozens of roses. Risqué lingerie
and sex toys. Even seventy-three year old Edith who came to Zumba
on the Ridge Crest Retirement Village transport van had a hot
date!
    Lexi tried not to
let her dateless V-Day get her down. If her drama-filled childhood
had taught her anything, it was that romance was seriously
overrated. Maybe it was better to spend the night curled up on the
couch watching Real Housewives reruns with some Chinese takeout and a bottle of
wine.
She tried not to compare the reality of the
lame ass Valentine's Day that awaited her with the one from her
fantasies. In her wildest dreams, she'd be sharing the night with
the pair of drop-dead-sexy men who had been starring in her
fantasies for the better part of a year. Lexi couldn't shake her
attraction to Tom and Frank. Even learning they were closer than
best friends when she'd designed their Christmas gifts hadn't put a
damper on her raging lust for them. Oddly enough, it had only
intensified her desire, especially once she'd confirmed the rumors
about their bisexuality. With that bit of information, the sexy
scenarios filling her mind knew no end.
Tom oozed testosterone with his muscled frame
and badass reputation. He had that boyish grin that made her
insides melt and always teased and flirted with her whenever they
ran into one another around the gym or the downtown
area.
Despite that broad grin he wore, she'd spotted
the lonely, haunted look in his deep brown eyes. He tried to hide
it and seemed to be successful with most people but he didn't fool
her. It was easily recognizable. In some ways, she felt they were
kindred spirits. She suspected their childhoods were
similar.
Tom's experiences at war, of course, set him
apart. She wondered if that was why he'd taken up cage fighting as
a career after leaving the Army. Some part of him reveled in the
animalistic, primal experience of beating another man to a pulp. He
was probably channeling some unhealthy feelings into those
beat-downs that had earned him fame and fortune.
Frank, on the other hand, was the epitome of
sophisticated sexiness. Her insides wobbled like JELL-O whenever he
smiled at her. Sometimes he'd stand so close she could feel his
body heat penetrating her skin. That cologne he wore, a deliciously
heady mix of cedar and sandalwood, would infiltrate her nose and
leave her dizzy with lust. He often spoke in this commanding,
assured tone that made her knees weak. She wondered sometimes if he
understood the effect he had on her.
Where Tom had made his name embracing all
things primitive and male, Frank had gone after a MBA and parlayed
his part-time personal training into a gym franchise that now
spanned the Southwest. Partnering with Tom in his early days of
mixed-martial arts fighting had given Frank's gym and trainers much
needed publicity. Together, the two had created a massively
successful exercise and supplement empire.
    As a small but
growing business owner, Lexi truly admired their work ethic. As a
young and unattached woman, she really, really admired their hot
bodies.
But that was foolishness in the extreme. In
the early days of her gym
