safe.
Quin turned her around so Jaden could see her and they both roared with laughter.
"When did that happen?” Jaden said.
"Must have been when we were in the nursery and taking care of all the others." Quin chuckled and Cami fought her way out of the blankets, in a most unladylike way, and stomped to the bathroom, grumbling. She quickly realized she’d stomped into the walkin closet and then came back in the room, looked around and stomped into the actual bathroom. Quin and Jaden burst into laughter again.
She loved their new home. Living in the new Pack house, they had an entire wing. Their children's rooms were right next door, and the nursery for the nannies to look after them during meetings was now next to the conference room. None of the women would allow their children to be so far away after what happened the last time. So their wing was exactly that, theirs. They had a door separating them from the rest of the house, so if they wanted a night alone, all they had to do was lock themselves in. Cami had taken advantage of it the first night and ravished her mates after asking Jo to babysit.
They had christened every room in the house, and she loved it. Her bathroom held a huge whirlpool bath and a shower big enough to hold all three of them if they wanted, which they did, all the time. Cami stomped to the long mirror hanging in front of the triple sink and screamed. Someone had written 'HEAD BITCH IN CHARGE' in black permanent marker all over her face, and whoever did it had been drunk because they had tried to draw a mustache on her lip and missed, making her eyebrows seem like they were a unibrow.
"Oh, she is dead. D.E.A.D. Fucking toast," Cami screamed and her mates came into the bathroom with her.
"Soap and water." Jaden chuckled and grabbed a washcloth for her. She fumed as her mates attempted to get the offending black marker off her face.
"So, who exactly is dead?” Quin asked curiously.
"Jo and Casey they were both calling me that last night. I think it was last night, ugh; I need orange juice and aspirin and a gallon of coffee and breakfast. Then I shall be kicking some wolf-ass. Maybe I’ll grab the razor." Cami plotted.
"NO" her men yelled firmly. "You got yourself into this mess; you can accept the consequences. Besides, you had to hold still for it, maybe in your drunkenness you asked them to do that. Now, most of it is gone or faded. Let's order up some food, and then we’ll go see the babies," Quin said and Cami continued to grumble and plan her friend's downfall.
Cami went and checked on the children, who were playing in their room. She smiled.
They were so advanced, being shifter babies and Chosen children, that Cami was constantly surprised at the changes they made every day. She wondered what she was going to do when they got older. She loved them when they were babies and all cuddly.
Hope looked up at her and smiled. "Ma!" she cried, and the boys turned and clapped.
"Well, that’s a welcome. How are my angels this morning?” she asked and bent down and kissed them.
She played with them for a few minutes until she heard the food was coming, and then she picked them up and carried them one by one to the table, giving them each a little cuddle time with her. Jaden and Quin crooned over their children, and they talked about playtime they had had this morning.
As Cami looked around the table, she realized how thankful she was for all that she had.
Her children and her mates, without them, she had no idea where she would be.
"Why the serious look?” Quin asked and scooped up a fork full of pancakes and held it out to her, feeding her from his plate. She loved it when he took care of her like that.
"Nothing, just thinking how lucky I was that we found each other," Cami said with a sigh.
"Ha! Found each other my ass. You came barreling into my office and was screaming about the lease on the bookstore and not keeping a meeting," Quin laughed.
"Well, you were an arrogant asshole
