and ignited like a beacon in that sea of grey.  One corner of her mouth turned up in a small grin.
Robin sat up and Nathan leaned back to give her room as she scooted against the headboard.  She knelt beside her pillow, but as soon as she realized her marred hands were visible again she tucked them beneath her thighs and her confidence waivered.
“Give me your hands,” Nathan said . He laid his out between them, palm side up.  Robin hesitated, but in the end his stillness won out.  She placed one hand in each of his.
Nathan lifted them to his lips.  He left them hovering there, just a hair’s width above his skin.  “I want you to touch me,” he whispered into her fingers.
“Close your eyes prince,” Robin commanded.  He did, and unbeknownst to him, Robin did too.  She closed her eyes against all the times she wasn’t able to feel another’s skin.  She explored his lips, felt over their warmth and their softness, felt his breath on her fingers.  His hands went back down to his side as hers gained confidence.
Robin’s fingers traveled up his face, over his cheek and along the ridge of his cheekbone to his nose.  They dove off the end there, skipped over his mouth and landed lightly on his chin before continuing their journey south.
She touched his neck and a powerful shiver surged down his spine. Robin lifted her hand in surprise and their eyes came open simultaneously.  She searched his for the usual repulsion, the disgust, but it wasn’t there.
She pressed both hands just below his collarbone and felt the rapid beat of his heart.  Her eyes stayed open this time.  She traced the fading lines her whip left across his chest.  Her fingers were cool against his skin.
“You’re beautiful,” he whispered and he cupped her face in his hand.  Again her gaze lifted level, towards his, but the smile she gave him was half-hearted.  She didn’t believe him, but she forgave him for it all the same.
Robin leaned in to him and sat up onto her knees.  The nightgown she wore hung loose off her body and when she rose the fabric moved against her chest, exposing the outer curves of her breasts and the tips of her nipples.  Nathan kept his eyes up to her face, mostly, for it seemed right that he should look up to her.  It felt familiar.
She crawled over his legs and pressed her hands against his chest until her weight pushed him backwards.  She slid up his body, only stopping when she straddled his hips.  His erection brush against her thigh through the thin pants he wore.  Nathan readjusted beneath her, to try to hide it, but it was no use.
He flashed her an apologetic smile and shrugged against the bed.  “Ignore it.”
“No.”  Robin leaned forward and kissed him.  She didn’t explore his mouth carefully this time, nor flirt with control like she had at the pool.  Her tongue pressed past his lips as she claimed that space for her own.  She took everything from him, all at once, until he was out of breath beneath her.
Nathan moaned against her mouth as she ground against his cock.  His hands ran up the outside of her thighs, under her gown and over her hips before plunging down into the shallow of her waist.  She wore nothing beneath.
Robin pulled back and slid her hands up his arms.  She continued up until she traveled over her own skin and further, until she slipped that single piece of clothing off.  Her hair fell free as she pulled the gown over her head.  Her breasts peeked out through her disheveled curls, but she did not offer him a show for long.  Just as quickly she pulled his hands from her body and leaned back into him, claiming his mouth once more as she pushed his arms up over him.
His wrists gathered just above his head and her hands held them there.  Her arms pressed into his, her chest into his, and Nathan could no longer tell where he ended and she began.  Beneath her, hidden from the rest of the room beneath her lips and her hair, he could enjoy just
