I’m wondering
what the hell is happening when it suddenly clicks. It’s that time
of the month when there’s no sex and Starlet is either tired, mega
moody or hungry all the time. I guess that explains why she’s all
snappy with me.
I go inside and
see her sat on the sofa.
“ I’m sorry,” I
apologise, trying not to annoy her and set her off even more. “What
can I do to make y’ feel better?”
I have no clue
how to handle girl stuff like this but I guess treating her like
she’s ill might work.
“ I really want
a bath but there’s only a shower cubicle in my bathroom,” she says.
“I feel awful.” She’s holding her tummy and looking in
pain.
“ Are you okay?”
I ask, feeling sympathetic.
“ It’s just
stomach cramps,” she replies.
“ What else will
make it better? I’ll get whatever you need.”
“ Can you make
me a hot water bottle?” she asks.
“ Yeah, sure,” I
answer and she tells me where to find it.
I haven’t used
a hot water bottle before, but I remember what mum did when she
used to make them for Carl and me years ago when it was a really
cold winter. I get it from the kitchen, fill it with boiled water
from the kettle and bring it back to her.
“ Thanks,” she
says gratefully and takes it to put on her stomach.
I sit down on
the sofa beside her and she lies across my lap, cuddling close to
me. It’s kind of sweet and we chill like that for a while, watching
TV.
“ Are you
feeling better now, babe?” I ask her.
“ Yeah, I do,”
she replies. “Sorry I was all moody before.”
“ It’s ‘kay, I
know you don’t mean to.”
I stroke her
hair, feeling relieved that she’s cooled down now and things seem
okay.
We kiss and
watch TV, but after an hour I smile as I see that Starlet has dozed
off in my arms. She must be really worn out to fall asleep at
9:00pm. I don’t want to leave her yet and let her sleep there for
another hour.
Finally I turn
off the TV and carefully lift her up, trying not to wake her. I
carry her into the bedroom, lie her down in bed and pull the duvet
over her. I look down and smile at how beautiful she looks. She’s
sleeping peacefully and her hair is spread out across the
pillow.
“ Night, Star,”
I whisper and kiss her forehead before leaving.
The next night
I come and visit her again, expecting her to be all moody and
preparing myself. However, when she opens the door I get the
surprise of my life when she pulls me inside and kisses me
passionately.
I kiss her
back, enjoying it for a few minutes and then part from
her.
“ I thought we
weren’t doing anythin’ for a week?” I ask, confused.
“ I know, we
can’t,” she replies, “but my hormones are all over the place and I
just really, really want you right now.”
It’s hard to
control myself hearing her say that and I want to rip off her
clothes and have sex with her immediately. However, I know I can’t
no matter how much we both want it.
I sigh, “you
know I really want you too, Star. So what do we do?”
“ I guess we can
only make out for now,” she says disappointed. “I feel so teased
and frustrated.”
“ It’s okay,” I
reassure her. “We can have it as much as you want when this week is
over.”
I kiss her neck
hungrily and she moans, enjoying it even more than usual. We make
out on the sofa for an hour and she lets me get to second base. I
have to be extra careful though because she says her chest is
feeling sore.
She takes my
t-shirt off and kisses along my chest. I can’t help but moan with
pleasure at how good it feels. We start a long passionate kissing
session and move our body’s against each other, trying not to do it

Sarah and I are put on emergency call. After a week of hard work,
our new base is complete and we can begin our jobs again. We’ve set
up our new emergency phone line and calls from the public are
finally coming through again.
