plunged inside her again, and began
thrusting.
“Hope you don’t think this is selfish, baby, but I
want to come inside you and not waste it.”
She watched in the mirror on the opposite side of
the wall as Luc’s sexy butt moved as he thrust in and out of her. A few seconds
later she felt a gush inside her and then he quit moving, leaned over and
kissed her.
“I think I’d like to lie here and snuggle with you
for a while,” he whispered in her ear.

    Luc Frasier being soppy and
romantic after sex. This was a first. But then he’d never
been with a woman quite like Katey . Her hair tickled
his chest as she laid her head upon it. He stroked where it curled slightly
toward the ends. He guessed it was beautiful and shiny. If only he could see
her. Shit, he was almost considering the operation the doctor had told him
about. Not that he’d ever get all his sight back, but maybe he’d see a little
of what Katey looked like.
    Almost
considering .
The doctor had told him of the risks that perhaps
things wouldn’t go well and he’d be back in the dark again. And he’d hated
hospitals ever since his mom had died in one and he’d remembered the smell and
all the distinct noises of machines beeping. He’d never forget that tone.
Katey shifted her body and put her leg over his. He placed his hand on her thigh. Smooth, and probably not one blemish.
    “What are you thinking?”
    Her voice startled him.
    “Nothing.”
    “That’s impossible.”
“Just how nice this is, to be close to you, holding
you.”
    Wishing
I could see you and thinking about something stupid like going under the knife .
“I’m looking forward to our date on Saturday. I’m
not really into the symphony orchestra but somehow I think it’s going to be
great.”
That was weird…he’d thought the very same thing when
Sadie had given him the tickets.

Katey reached behind her back and zipped up her dress. The good news was it still fit
her. She slipped her feet into the black pumps that she hadn’t worn since she couldn’t remember when. Taking one last
glance at herself in the mirror, she picked up her purse and headed downstairs
where her dad and Ruth were watching TV.
“You look pretty, honey,” said her dad.
“Thanks. I wasn’t sure what you wear to the symphony,
so I hope it’s okay.”
“I’m sure it’s perfect. I hope you and Luc have a
wonderful time. Maybe you can bring him by and we can meet him one of these
days.”
Had her dad sensed that she thought of Luc as more
than a guy she was working with? Yeah, she’d never been one to hide her
feelings.
“Take care, sweetie,” said her dad as she headed out
the door.
    Katey got into
her car and checked her make-up one more time in the rear-view mirror. She
pulled up her dress so it didn’t bunch around her thighs and crease before she
got to Luc’s house.
She smiled as she felt the garters brush her skin.
She’d never worn them before and she knew Luc wouldn’t be able to see them, but
he’d feel them. And she knew guys loved them. She’d even been online and
checked out some sex advice sites about how to excite a man and she couldn’t
wait to try things out on him.
Katey started the car, feeling her panties grow moist just thinking about what she’d
do to him once they got back from the symphony. She backed out of the driveway
and glanced at the clock. If she didn’t get a move on, he’d think she’d stood
him up.

Luc knew he should have accepted Josie’s offer of
helping him dress. He’d tried his best, but getting his tie just right was next
to impossible. Well, it had been when he’d had his sight too, so he shouldn’t
feel too bad about his failure.
He sat on the bed. Josie had at least picked out a
shirt and suit for him. And socks that matched. His last attempt had been a
disaster.   One white one, and a black one with red dots. The lady at the rehab clinic had told him the
easy thing to do was
