with the repercussions later.
He buried his face in her neck and shuddered. “God, you don’t know...”
Von gasped as Sean suddenly swung her up into his arms and carried her into the bedroom. She felt like a bride on her wedding night as he reverently laid her on the mattress. He undid her braid and arranged damp hair on the pillows, his expression intent as though it mattered that he got it just right. When he finished, he commanded softly, “Don’t move.”
Watching her the whole while, he bent and took off his boots, then lifted his shirt over his head and tossed it to the side. His dog tags clanked against his chest before nestling between his breastbones in the small trail of fine dark hair. His skin was so deeply tanned she knew he spent a lot of time in the sun shirtless.
He stopped and stared. “This is just how I imagined.”
She nervously played with the skirt of her gown, alternately smoothing and plucking at the material. “I’m sure you didn’t picture me in this.”
Sean’s eyes seemed to glow. “I’m flexible. Put your hands above your head.”
His command caught her by surprise. When she hesitated, he gestured with his chin. “Now,” he added, his voice deep and sexy.
Von slowly reached up and behind. Sean’s intent gaze made her feel like a temptress. When her fingers brushed the spines of her decorative, brass iron headboard, he spoke. “Hold on and don’t let go.”
The position arched her back and lifted her breasts. She wrapped her fingers around the rail and held on tight, watching Sean through lowered eyelids.
Sean took a deep breath. “Damn, that’s a sexy look on your face.”
He thought she was sexy? He should see the view she had. Once again her gaze traveled up what she knew to be thick, bulging thigh muscles hidden in those loose, camouflage cargo pants he wore. The waistband rode low on his slender waist, giving an enticing peek at his belly button and the trail of hair that disappeared beneath the green button. The front of his pants tented and Von could see the hard knob of his cock resting against the material, obviously unrestrained by any type of underwear. She licked her suddenly dry lips and Sean cursed.
“Baby, you keep looking at me like that and this is going to be over before it’s started,” he warned.
Von ignored him in favor of continuing her study. She counted the ridges of his stomach. Two, four, six—the man had a rare eight pack. Clearly defined pecs, minimal chest hair, biceps that looked pumped even while relaxed...
Von ran her tongue around her mouth again. This time to catch the drool she felt escaping.
Sean groaned and his penis flexed. A damp spot appeared. “You’re killing me here.”
She raised dazed eyes to his. What is he talking about ?
He climbed onto the bed and undid the buttons of her gown, one by one, taking his sweet time. Then he parted the material, leaving a trail skin visible from neck to navel. She thought he would have bared her breasts completely, but he seemed content to leave only the swells showing. “Perfect,” he murmured, observing his handiwork.
Retreating until his feet hit the floor, Sean maneuvered his way to the bottom of the bed and knelt. Von rose onto her elbows to see what he was about.
“I told you not to move,” he commented mildly without taking his gaze away from her feet.
Von immediately dropped back into position, though curiosity was burning a hole inside.
Her gaze on the ceiling, she felt his hand cup her foot. “You have beautiful feet.”
Those ugly things ? Von curled her toes self-consciously. Her feet were long and so bony the veins stood out. Her second toe slightly longer than the first, even weekly pedicures couldn’t beatify them and he thought they were beautiful?
Sean rubbed the pad of his thumb down her instep and Von flinched, her leg automatically jerking from the contact. He tightened his grip.
    “Sensitive?”
    “Ticklish,” she corrected. “Very
