    “Do I look that frustrated?”
She saw him smirked. Before he could say anything, she beat him to it.
“Make it two. I have a freaking long break that I might end up sleeping here just to pass time.” She sounded annoyed.
“How many hours this time?” He still had the same smile but a hint of concern was obvious on his face.
When Meahri first found out about Cafégroundz, she never tried any other cafes around their university. With how often she had a break, she found herself spending it at Cafègroundz and eventually, she became a regular customer.
Since then, the two became close. Closer than two strangers but not as close as bestfriends. They were close enough for Max to know how long Meahri’s break was every now and then.
“Seven.” She sounded like she wanted to end the conversation then and there.
He didn’t have to rub it in her face. If he was inching for a fight, it was obvious that she won’t back out and he knew that. He’d rather shut up than get into an argument with the girl. He knew what was best for him.
“I got you.” He smiled and left.
What the hell am I supposed to do in this fucking seven hours? She sighed as she lazily goes through her laptop.
After a few tries to find something to do but failed, she found herself looking around the café. There were fewer people than usual. It was probably because it was only 9 in the morning. It was so peaceful that she felt like sleeping. She knew Max wouldn’t mind.
She took her earphones, plugged it on her laptop and to her ears. She leaned on the wall on her left and closed her eyes wishing she could fall asleep.
Minutes passed by and she started to get sleepy. She should’ve loved it but even though she was a friend of the owner, it wasn’t respectful to sleep in a café. It was a café not a hotel.
    She opened her eyes.
A second later, she closed it.
Am I seeing things? She opened her eyes once again.
He’s still here and he’s even smiling at me. She closed her eyes for the third time.
I’m probably dreaming. I’ll give myself a few minutes. Maybe after that, I’ll be fully awake. Her eyes were closed but her senses weren’t and she knew it wasn’t a good sign. She debated in her head whether she’s awake or not and right now, majority of her agreed that she’s awake and definitely not asleep.
Few minutes passed by and she opened her eyes with the hope that the man in front of her was long gone by now but she was disappointed.
He’s still here. Should I be scared? Or maybe not? She looked around. I’m still at Cafégroundz so I’m pretty sure I’m safe. Maybe I’m just dreaming. She looked at the man in front of her, the same man who she had been seeing – or dreaming of seeing -for a couple of minutes now.
She was about to close her eyes when she heard him speak.
She often put her music on almost maximum level but today, she didn’t. If it weren’t for that, she wouldn’t have heard the man speak. Was it a coincidence?
Shit! Who the hell is this guy? Is he even human? Maybe not? Maybe he’s an angel sent from above? If he is, he’s one goddamn gorgeous angel! Look at those blue eyes. They are as blue as the sky. I could stare at them all day. Damn are they beautiful! She didn’t know why but the man in font of her suddenly smiled.
It was the only time she became aware that she too had a smile on her face.
“Hi.” His voice was filled with sweetness and gentleness.
How can a man as handsome, as hot and as sexy as him possess such sweet voice? Isn’t that unfair? He’s hot so his voice should be sexy… right? That’s how it should be… right? He’s definitely a very selfish man when it comes to traits. He took everything. He should at least save something for the other men in the world. A man shouldn’t be this selfish, this goddamn perfect. Wait a minute! Why am I even thinking about this? And why the hell is he sitting in front of me and talking
