are you?”
    “The one you come for.”
“I can’t.” Shivering, but now from cold, she started to thrash. Yet Azure kept her knees opened wide, just as he had instructed. “I’m dangling, but I can’t go over.”
“Just say it,” he barked harshly. “It will happen.”
“Three!” With one more deep thrust from her fingers, she pinched her right nipple fiercely. Flashes sparked Azure’s vision as she melted around her hand. He legs collapsed. One stretched over the side, pulling her pussy apart. Moisture coated her thighs and sleep threatened to override her brain. “What now?”
“Dream of me,” he said in the gruffest of whispers, “and know this, you are mine, Azure Malloy. All mine.”
A dream! Must have been a drunken dream, she thought, dropping the phone on the floor. Allowing her mind to follow her body, Azure drifted to a place where there were no monsters.

    “ Y ou spelled her?”
“No,” Gage snapped at Heath, roaring with the Beast. Not many Weres could manage to be-spell a human, but merely wipe their memories instead. Gage was well-versed in the ways of the Shaman, druid spirituality taught to him as a child. But he would only use it with his mate if her life or mental wellbeing depended on it. Other than helping her with a nap here or there, he hoped that he would never have to do so. “She simply fell asleep, sated by an orgasm induced by her true mate,” he explained, though he didn’t have to. Gage wanted to clean Azure’s flesh with his tongue, tasting their first orgasm together. “Off me,” he growled dangerously at the four werewolves who sat on him, holding him back. They took their lives in their own hands and would suffer nothing short of death if they continued to stand between him and what belonged to him.
“We have no right to stop you,” Heath said, bearing down on Gage’s chest, “this is a matter concernin’ you and your mate.” The other three were spread across him, grunting, all in mid-trans, and fighting to keep him from taking her. “But before we release you, think about what you’re doing. By her arousal scent, she’s at least half-human. Obviously, she lives a life devoid of our kind, isn’t a pack member, and doesna know what she is. Doona make her run. What part of her that’s human is incredibly fragile, especially her mind,” he patiently reminded Gage about everything he already knew, but right now, could care less about. “Doona break her, Ancient One. Above all, protect her from your Beast.”
Gage couldn’t take it anymore, expelling another warning growl. “She’ll never be apart from me again!” Leaving all human facade behind, he slammed their great bodies with his power, barely remembering to shield against nosy humans with his miasma while glorying in the power of his werewolf – wholly welcoming it. “Mine!” He roared, shaking the ground beneath them, tossing all werewolves off him as if they were nothing. Because, compared to his werewolf, they were. Three breaths in, one slow hiss out. “Last warning before I get really physical,” he grated roughly, but they understood each word. His werewolf didn’t want another male around what was his, unless it was a co-mate equally committed to protecting Azure. Gage jumped up, spinning heels over his head, baring his teeth after effortlessly landing on the balls of his feet. They lifted from the ground, holding up their large hands yielding to his power, his authority over them.
Heath still wasn’t convinced that Gage had healed enough. “We’ll stay in the area tonight,” At Gage’s growl, he quickly added, “at a distance. We don’t know who is after you or even her. And who has Sayer?”
Gage shook his head. What if something were after his new mate? He didn’t want to be picking up the pieces when they hadn’t yet begun their life together. After studying Heath through his flaring eyes, he realized that he admired him for not backing down in order to remind
