right. She ain’t answering her phone and her car right there,” I pointed.
“Boo, call the police.”
“The police? Why?”
“I got a bad feeling about this one. My stomach is in knots, and no I don’t have to shit. Something just ain’t right.”
“Well, we’re about to find out. I’m not calling no fucking police.”
“Okay then, call Ashley at least.”
I should call her. I dialed her number.
“Hey chick!”
“Long story short, Lil Mama might be in trouble. I need you. Meet me at her crib.”
“I’m on my way.”
“There, she’s on the way. Ready?”
We went around the back because she had a big-ass window in her living room overlooking the street. Creeping up the back stairwell was not an easy task. The stairs creaked. Heidi was taking them two at a time.
“Come on here, Boo. The more you try not to make noise, the more noise you gon’ make.”
When we made it to the top of the stairs, I heard Lil Mama scream.
“Arrrggghhhh!”
Oh my God. She was in trouble. Heidi kicked the door in and started shooting.
(BOC!, BOC!, BOC!)
Chapter 31
JuJu
I didn’t know what to do. I loved Jaw, but I just couldn’t accept no baby, especially not from that crazy-ass bitch, Mia. When I picked up JoJo, I almost felt uncomfortable talking about her sister. I guess she sensed my apprehensiveness.
“Ju, what you wanna talk about? E said you wanted to get at Mia. I don’t blame you. She needs to be stopped.”
“She called Jaw and said she was pregnant.”
JoJo started cracking up. I didn’t find that shit funny at all. I was about to put her fat-ass out.
“Damn, JoJo, my feelings are hurt. Stop fucking laughing.”
“I’m sorry, JuJu. That bitch is pitiful. Look, she can’t have kids.”
“Really? What chu talking ‘bout, JoJo?”
“She got pregnant with her first boyfriend’s baby, and when she killed him, she aborted the baby. Well they must have done something wrong because she had to be rushed to the hospital. They ended up taking her uterus out.”
That was all I needed to hear. I instantly perked up.
“Girl, you don’t know you just saved Jaw’s life.”
We started laughing as I pulled into the Planned Parenthood parking lot.
“Aww, shit!”
“What, JoJo?”
She pointed. “There goes Mia and Spooky right there.”
“Aww, hell yeah. I’m ‘bout to beat that hoe’s ass.”
(Dirty E)
“I was tired of dealing with Re’s unstable ass. She was one of my best friends, but that didn’t excuse her behavior.”
“Re, man, you need to . . . .”
“Don’t tell me what I need to do. You choosing that hoe over me?”
“Are we fucking?”
“WHAT?”
“You starting to sound like my bitch.”
(WHACK!)
“Aww bitch!”
That crazy bitch hit me in the shoulder I got shot in.
“Re, what the hell, man?”
“Don’t talk to me like that. You know I’m sensitive.”
“I was about to punch her punk-ass back when my phone rang. It was JoJo.
“Whud up, fat girl?”
Re rolled her eyes at me and smacked her lips. Drama Queen.
“You need to get up here at the Planned Parenthood on 1100 and Division.”
“What’s going on?”
“When we pulled into the parking lot, we saw Mia. Now JuJu ‘bout to fight her. My cousin, Spooky, tryin’ to jump.”
“We on our way. JoJo, whatever you do, don’t let her get jumped.”
“E, I’m pregnant. What . . .”
“I DON’T GIVE A FUCK! DON’T LET THEM JUMP HER!”
I hung up.
“Re, get to 1100 South Division ASAP!”
(Mia)
“Girl, yo ass crazy.”
I couldn’t believe how funny Spooky was.
“Money Man thinks I’m so innocent. I really wanna fuck Young Meech. He’s the boss.”
I guess she really didn’t know whose son he was.
“Yeah, he’s a boss just like his father was.”
“Was? Who was his father?”
“King Meech. Your father’s best friend until he started fucking King’s baby mother.”
“What? Wait, my daddy was fucking his best friend’s girl?”
“Yep and he had
