going to break their hearts all over again.”
“Mom, I have to go home. They will move on. We all will. I will come and stay with you whenever you need me.”
“Jenna, I love you with all my heart. But Nick and Tyler need you ! You’re their heart and soul. You should know that after all these years?”
“Mom, I have to go now. I have some work to finish up with and to pack my suitcase before they get home. I love you, Mom. I’ll talk to you soon.”
“Jenna, please think carefully about this. You know I love you, too. Good-bye, dear heart.”

Nick and Tyler came home with the groceries she asked for. She went to the kitchen to get dinner started as Nick and Tyler retreated to the den to look over some blueprints.
Jenna set the dining room table with nice dishes and candles. She had a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. She was trying to set the mood. She wanted everything to be perfect tonight. When they went to bed tonight, she wanted to make sure had left them with sweet memories of their last night together.

Nick had the door closed to their office. Jenna had been acting funny the past couple days. They knew she didn’t look well, but they could tell she didn’t tell them everything the doctor said.
    “She looks tired, Nick.”
“I know. I saw the vitamins she brought home. Maybe we should ease up our sexual activity. I think it’s been too much for her lately.”
“Let’s finish up here, and then we can call the doctor tomorrow and see if he’ll tell us anything about Jenna.”

Chapter 21

Jenna had asked them to dress casual for dinner tonight in her note she left for them on the kitchen counter before she went upstairs to change. Nick and Tyler had come downstairs after they changed into slacks and button-down shirts. They entered the dining room and noticed the romantic ambiance Jenna had set for tonight’s dinner. Only three chairs were set up on the table, one at the head of the table, and two on either side.
“If I wouldn’t know any better, it looks to me like Jenna is planning on seducing us tonight?” Tyler chuckled as they heard Jenna’s shoes click-clocking down the hallway toward them.
Jenna looked beautiful. Nick thought he’d almost lost his breath. She was wearing the same sexy black dress and three-inch heels she wore when they took her out to dinner. She had swept her hair off her shoulders and left a few stragglers in the front, hanging loosely. Nick noticed she was wearing her stockings and garter belt again. Oh man, were they in trouble tonight. She looked hot !
“Honey, you look absolutely breathtaking. I am one lucky man.”
“You can say that again, buddy!” Tyler walked toward her to guide her to the main chair between them.
“Thank you both. I hope you enjoy everything I have in store for you. I wanted tonight to be special.”
“Baby, every night we have with you is special !” Tyler winked.
The way Nick and Tyler made her feel, she always seemed to be on cloud nine when around them. Jenna felt her eyes start to water up. “You both mean so much to me. I wanted to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. Tonight is just a thank you.”
“Please serve us some wine, and I’ll go get the food,” Jenna said with a smile.
“Do you want us to help you?” Tyler asked Jenna.
“No thank you. I have everything under control this evening.”
Jenna ran into the kitchen and returned shortly with everything on serving platters. The dinner Jenna had created looked delicious, Nick thought as he looked around the table. “Well, you have been working hard in the kitchen today while we were in the office.”
“Not really. I wanted the kitchen to be cleaned up so we didn’t have a mess to clean afterward.”
“Looks good, baby. Can we dig in? I’m starved.”
    “Yes, please.”
Jenna had felt like the dinner went as she had planned. They had a light conversation with the music playing in the background. They teased one
