spread her legs wide and thrust inside her. Ive held her legs back, giving him more room to move. His balls slapped her ass, adding another level to the experience. She wanted to suck on those balls, to have Dji’s cock in her mouth. Even to taste herself on his length to see if it was different than from his tongue. The very idea excited her. She was surprising herself left and right. Ive never would have guessed she was kinky, but there was so much she couldn’t wait to do with Dji.
    “Harder—more,” Ive panted.
He listened and thrust harder and harder. Ive wrapped her legs around him, digging her heels in to hold him in deep. She moved meeting his every stroke. She was so close.
Dji tweaked her nipples and that was it, Ive’s body shuddered.
“Dji, Dji, Dji.” Ive bit her lip and kept saying her mate’s name over and over.
He tensed up and closed his eyes. He was coming deep inside her and they felt complete. It was her turn to sooth Dji. She caressed his back. Ive didn’t want him to move, she enjoyed his weight on top of her, but he didn’t stay that way for long. Dji turned them over so she could rest on his chest. Even now he was protecting her and she didn’t think he even realised it.
“Where do we go from here?” Dji asked her.
    “The shower?” Ive teased.
    “I’m serious.”
“So am I—and I’m sticky.” Ive kissed the closest available skin, Dji’s chin.
“All you ever think about is the shower.”
“African jungle—that’s all I have to say about that. I don’t think I’ll ever be clean enough.”
“Okay, then, after the shower—what next?”
Ive wasn’t in the mood to be serious. “Sleep? It’s been an exhausting day. Grey almost walked off, you left. Yeah…I’m thinking sleep sounds mighty good right now.”
    “Ive—”
“We can be serious tomorrow. Tonight? Let’s just wallow in the fact that we’re mates. Maybe talk more about that fist thing you did.” Ive winked.
“Oh, you liked that, did you?”
“Do you even have to ask? You were there when I came apart.”
“I may have hated being possessed, but I did learn a trick or two.” Dji smirked.
He seemed entirely too pleased with himself and Ive liked this look on him. Now she could see the man he must have been and she enjoyed him.
“Guess we have some exploring to do. Race ya to the shower.” Ive hopped out of bed and dashed into the bathroom.
Dji’s laughter followed her. She liked that even more and vowed to make him do it more often. People might call her the Ice Queen, but she had a heart. It had just taken Dji to thaw it out.
He wasn’t too far behind her and she squealed when he picked her up and tossed her over his shoulder, slapping her ass.
    “I win.”
It was Ive’s turn to laugh. In her mind, they’d both won and it made her smile. She’d travelled a great distance, but in the end it had been worth every mile. She wouldn’t change a thing because she was right where she wanted to be. With her mate. Tomorrow they would talk to her brother and Naomi. The Masters’ pack was the best thing that had ever happened to her and she would do what she could to protect them and her mate. Even if that meant protecting Dji from himself.
“I love you, Djimon, with every inch of my being.” She kissed his back.
“I’m yours in every way and that doesn’t scare me. Not anymore. I love you too.”
“All right—let’s hit the showers!” Ive slapped Dji’s ass and he almost dropped her.
She laughed and everything felt right with the world. Not only had she gained a mate, but also an extended family that would be there when she needed them. It put her den to shame and she was overjoyed that they would be able to stay here and help the Masters’ tribe thrive.
Dji would become the protector he was always meant to be and she would be right there by his side every step of the way.
