and behold, I hear the most joyful laugh ever. It was like a melody calling to my heart. At first, I didn’t turn and look. Then I heard it again. It was gentle, but it was also so full of life. I had to see whom it belonged to. I looked over and I saw you. In that very instant I wanted to fall to my knees and thank our God above and his heavens for the precious angel before my eyes. You were the most beautiful woman that I had ever, ever laid eyes on. But the word beautiful doesn’t even begin to describe you. Your laughter captured my complete attention. And when we were introduced, you looked into my eyes, my soul melted, and it was as if the rest of the world never existed. I felt like I had ‘come home’ to the person that I am supposed to be with. I know that probably sounds a bit crazy. I can’t say that I have ever believed in love at first sight. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before. That moment you stopped my world in its tracks, ‘our world’ began right then and there. There’s nothing more that I want than to be with my best friend, my lover, my playmate, my soul mate, my companion, my partner in crime, and I believe that person is you.”
John stopped talking. Randa was looking at him with her bright, smiling eyes. “John,” she began before he interrupted.
“I was just sharing my deepest feelings with you. I know that it may have been too much at this point in our relationship, but I’ve been about to explode in happiness. You don’t have to say a word. Let me walk you up to your room, okay?’
“Okay,” Randa replied and leaned over and kissed John on the lips. At first softly and then with a vigor that surprised him and yet it didn’t. Randa was turning out to be everything that he imagined and so much more. He could feel the electrifying glitter in her veins. Finally stopping, she stood up and led the way to her bedroom. When they reached the door, they both reached out to each other.
“Good night Randa and sweet dreams,” John said, kissing her sweetly.
Randa replied, “Good night my love. Rest well.” Blowing a kiss to him, she walked into her bedroom and closed the door.
John went to his room and took off his clothes. Pulling back the covers, he got under them and lay down. Closing his eyes, he marveled at the events of the past week, wondering how things could get any better.
The weekend ended with everyone promising to get together again soon. Hugs were exchanged and Randa drove John and Fox to the airport to catch their flight home. Randa had a couple of more days of work in Nashville to finish up before she would be returning to Oklahoma. She and John didn’t want to leave each other. John only did so with the assurance from Randa that she would see him as soon as she could after she got back to Oklahoma.
“Have a very safe trip Sweetheart. I couldn’t bear for anything to happen to you now when it has taken me this long to find you,” Randa told John.
“Of course I will Baby Doll. I will see you soon,” John told her as he gave her a quick kiss and made his way to security. As he was about to enter the body scanner, he turned and looked. She was still standing there watching him with her glistening eyes. He smiled at her. She lifted her right hand, placed her fingers to her mouth, and blew him a kiss. He waved as she turned and walked toward the exit.
Randa stood solemnly still for a moment to collect her thoughts. I don’t think that I can feel one more ounce of love for this man. I am so full of love for him. It feels so good to be loved by him. I never want to be without this man…next to me, interacting with me, close to me, in my space, in my life, in my heart, in my soul, in my eyes with his wonderful smile and amazing love being bestowed on me.
Returning to Taylor’s house to pick up her things, she was about to burst with bliss as she walked through the door. She and Taylor had not had a chance to discuss the weekend yet.
    “Oh my goodness,
