fall over and pass out any moment. He was not built for this kind of stress. That was why he wanted the hell out of this kind of work. He was just not built for it; he never had been despite what anyone had ever remarked about his talent and that he was God chosen for this. Brian did not believe that anyone could choose your life for you. He had to finally choose the life he wanted and not the one that he thought he was supposed to have.
He was done. Mike Trapp was going behind bars forever for the attempted murder of Darla Fields and the murders of several police officers here today. The evidence might have been gone linking him to the crimes of the Copycat, but they would get a confession out of him eventually. They would have to play to his ego of course and try to get him to confess based on how good it would make him look.
Although Brian figured the shit would hang himself in prison long before that. But that was too good for him. They would keep him naked in his cell if they had to all day long with nothing. That would be too good for him.

Chapter 11: Picking up the Pieces

“So, why don’t you confess to the Copycat murders and save us all a bunch of time here,” Brian said sitting down in front of Trapp. Brian sipped on a cup of horrible coffee slowly. It was still warm and refreshing, he thought, even if it was weak as shit.
Trapp just smiled at him good-naturedly. The guy had the cockiest grin that he had ever seen on the face of anybody. It just made you want to punch him repeatedly, which Brian was already a bit in trouble for. Luckily one of his best friend’s was the chief and plus there were several members of the S.W. A.T. team who would testify that Trapp was resisting and attacking him.
It had been very satisfying and it was even more satisfying to look at his bruised face. The man had suffered a broken nose and lost several teeth. Brian had been possessed out there knowing this lunatic had just killed several of his friends with the flick of a wrist really.
Brian was in better spirits now and finally in the right frame of mind to talk to this asshole. The chief was expected to make a full recovery and he had learned that John had only suffered a concussion in the blast. He had leapt to safety just out of the blast zone when it happened. It was a lucky break. The rest of the crew, including those outside of the home had been killed either by the force of the blast, the fire that was flying through the air, or falling debris.
“We have your ass nailed to the wall. We know you killed those people. Darla Fields told us everything that you told her you were going to do. We have your DNA at that crime scene. You aren’t as clever as you think you are.”
Trapp continued to smile that shit eating grin of his. Brian decided to try a different tactic. He was just going to relax and let the man stew around for a bit. That would help take him down a peg or two. Trapp wanted attention. He wanted the fame that was due him but he would not give Brian the satisfaction of answering any of his questions, at least not yet. This was going to have to be done on Trapp’s terms.
Brian took a deep breath as he shifted gears to try another method of execution here. The silence of the room was deafening and it definitely gave off a sense of claustrophobia if you just sat there without saying anything. He knew that the officers watching the interrogation behind the glass were probably bored out of their minds.
The time ticked by slowly. Brian and Trapp were together in a power struggle right now. He was proving to Brian that he was in control and that he just did not have to talk to him if he didn’t want to. It was almost as if he was trying to tell them all that he was there voluntarily. They didn’t think they could really catch him and put a stop to his awesome murder spree did they? Of course not. He was just too damn good for that. He was the best that there had ever been.
    Brian had dealt with these
