stay and have a drink." Kid placed his arm
around my shoulder and tried to pull me onto his lap as he sat back on his
chair.
He'd been my supplier for the past
year after being recommended by one of the punters at the club, we weren't
allowed to take drugs or drink excessively if we worked for the Bird Cage, but
there were always ways around it. Natasha said it clouded our judgements and we
could put ourselves in danger, and that's why the club did random drugs tests.
Fortunately during the last round of drugs tests I was able to use a sample
from Tiffany, she was furious when I asked her and had explicitly told me to
get my shit together before the next round of tests, but that was easier said
than done when I was carrying so much baggage.
"Stop fucking about Kid, have
you got the wraps or not?" I pulled myself from his embrace and placed my
hands on my hips, I wasn't in the mood to be cocked about.
"Chill Paige, I'll get you your wraps." He nodded in the direction of
a scrawny looking young man who scampered off to get what I'd asked for. He
looked like he needed to ease his own drug use and wasn't the best advocate for
the merchandise Kid was selling.
I sniggered to myself as I nodded in appreciation, and continued to smoke my
fag as I glanced around the kitchen at the other party goers but I felt an unnatural
rush of blood run through my body, when I saw a pair of hooded eyes looking in
my direction.
Cade took a swig of his beer and
continued to stare as I found myself feeling uncomfortable under his scrutiny. What
the fuck was he doing in Kids house?
"Are you sure I can't tempt you to stay?" Kid pushed some tabs across
the table, pulling me from my thoughts.
"Not my thing, I don't want to be up all night I just want a nice rush and
a couple of hours to forget about everything."
Kid smiled and picked up the tabs, placing them onto his tongue before
swallowing them with a swig from his bottle.
We all turned to the sound of
shouting coming from the living room and witnessed a fight spilling out into
the hallway.
"For fucks sake I told you lot to behave." Kid stood and made his way
out of the kitchen taking a large baseball bat with him, I wasn't sure whether
it was for protection or to sort the revellers out.
I eagerly took the wraps from the young man that had just returned, and left
using the back door to try and make a quick exit before the police arrived
which was inevitable. I couldn't be caught here in a drugs sting, I'd lose my
job for sure which also meant my home.
Walking through the garden towards
the back gate I heard footsteps behind me and quickened my pace, I didn't want
to have a fight with some junkie trying to steal my drugs.
I reached the gate, I could hear the footsteps were close and my adrenaline was
now pumping making it difficult for me to open the bolt. I pulled harder and it
caught my finger, "Shit!" It stung like a bitch but I didn't have
time to worry about it, as the person following was nearly upon me.
I let the gate swing as I rushed into the dimly lit alley at the side of the
house but I wasn't quick enough, someone forcefully grabbed my arm and swung me
around. I was about to scream but a hand was placed firmly across my mouth as I
was pushed against the wall.
A smile spread across my face as I realised it was Cade but my heart continued
to race in its accelerated state, not because I was scared, I was excited, I
wanted him and could see the desire in his eyes as he held me tightly.
He pushed his body against mine and I instantly felt his arousal digging into
my stomach, I already knew he was big after seeing him in the shower but it was
different this time, I could actually feel him although it was restricted in
the confines of his jeans.
I knew Cade wanted me as both times I had given him a show he had gotten
excited, he had blatantly turned Coco down on Friday, which also confirmed my
suspicions. I could feel his breath on my skin sending shivers down my spine, I
was yearning for him
