show tonight was amazing,â Hope said. âAnd Iâm glad you like âNothing Like a Sister.â Itâs the reason why we wanted to talk to you.â
Faith nodded. âI know this is short notice, but we would love for you both to be in the video for the song. I donât know how long you plan to be in town for, but weâre going to be shooting tomorrow. We need to have the video done by next Sunday night for the National Music Awards. Itâs going to premiere then.â
âWow, thatâs a big deal,â AJ said. Practically everybody in the country tuned in to the National Music Awards every year to watch singers and bands get honored for their songs and CDs. The hottest acts in music gave live performances between awards. And every year, the show aired a video from one up-and-coming act. Faith and Hope were lucky to have been chosen. Millions of people would see their video.
âSince the song is all about sisters, we decided to invite other sister music acts to be in the video with us,â Hope added. âIt would be real amazing if you two could do it.â
Aly and AJ looked at each other, and their sister intuition kicked in. They both knew what the other was thinking.
âWe would love to be in your video,â Aly said with a big grin on her face. âIt sounds like a lot of fun. Are any other sister acts besides us in the video?â
Faithâs eyes sparkled mischievously. âWeâre waiting to hear from two really famous sisters. Iâd tell you, but I donât want to jinx it. Plus, if they agree, itâll be a real surprise.â
âOoh, I like surprises,â Aly said. She looked at AJ. âWhat do you say?â
âI love the idea of a sister-themed video,â AJ answered. âWe donât have to leave for our gig until Sunday, so weâve got almost a whole week to spend here anyway. Letâs go for it!â
Faith clapped her hands together. âWonderful!â she exclaimed. âWeâll give all the details to Jim.â
âNow how about letting us take you out for dinner tonight?â Hope asked. âWhen you come to Nashville, youâve got to try some hot chicken!â
âHot like hot in temperature, or hot and spicy?â Aly asked.
âHot and spicy!â Faith said. âAnd we know the best place for it.â
âI donât know,â AJ said apprehensively. âSpicy doesnât always agree with me.â
Hope laughed as she linked her arm through AJâs. âDonât worryâtheyâve got mild, too. Letâs go. Youâll love Nashville at night!â
CHAPTER TWO:
SISTER SENSATIONS
âMusic Row!â Jim said as he drove Aly and AJ through Nashville the next morning. âThe home of country music.â
AJ looked up from the guidebook of Nashville she was reading. âIt says here that Music Row is the heart of Nashvilleâs music industry. It is home to record labels, recording studios, video production houses, and radio stations,â she said.
Aly took a large gulp from the coffee she was holding in her hand. âI need caffeine this morning. We got to bed a little late, although Iâm glad we went out with Faith and Hope.â
âWe have so much in common,â AJ said. âTheyâve both been singing since they were little, just like us. And we like a lot of the same music, too. It will be a blast to shoot this video with them.â
Aly nodded. âI know we just met them, but itâs like weâve known them forever, right?â
Jim pulled up to a large brick building. The sign on the front read NASHVILLE STAR STUDIOS.
âThis is the place,â Jim said. âIâll pick you guys up later. Have fun!â
Aly and AJ hopped out of the car and were greeted by Faith and Hope, who had walked out to welcome them.
âHey!â Faith called. âLong time no see!â
âWe are going to have
