deeply
as she moved closer, his fangs extending again in a way that made
Marie hurry. She felt special that he had chosen her and she didn’t
want him changing his mind.
    She lifted her legs and
slowly straddled him, keeping her pelvis away from his and resting
her hands on his cool, hard chest.
    Marie wasn’t sure which
he’d prefer, so decided to ask. “Wrist or neck Sil?”
    Sil wrapped his strong
hands around her hips and pulled her closer. She gasped and watched
his full lips as he moved closer and tilted his head.
    “ Neck,
please.”
His calm voice and slow movements were at odds
with the hardness swelling between her legs. He leaned closer and
Marie pressed her breasts against his chest, exposing her
neck.
    A sharp pinch, then the
most amazing rush of pleasure as her blood flowed out of her body
and into his.

    Flashes of people
penetrated her mind as he fed on her. Sil standing with Lina,
another woman with beautiful eyes, then a young man with almost
black skin.
    Sil moaned as he fed,
causing Marie’s nipples to peak beneath her dress. She couldn’t
stop herself from responding, so she began moving. Rolling her hips
and rubbing her now wet body against his hard cock.
    Sil broke off from her
neck and ran his tongue over the puncture wounds, the feeling wet,
healing and sweet.
    “ That was
amazing, Sil...”
    Marie head
swam and she felt completely wanton. Wanted , for the first time in her
life.
    He continued to moan
against her neck in a way that had her gasping with
need.
    “ Marie... you
have the sweetest blood...”
His hands came up to cup
her breasts and his thumbs swept her nipples. Tingles of pleasure
speared her, making her ache and throb.
    Marie moaned and rocked
her lower body faster against him. Heat swept down her legs and
rippled through her belly.
Then she lay on her back,
on her bed and alone. Sil had fled.
    Marie stayed down on her
cold, hard mattress and slipped a hand between her legs to
investigate her body’s response. Slippery lips and sticky inner
thighs greeted her fingers.
    Her body ached and her
mind was full of pictures of Sil. She couldn’t leave it like that.
Not when his reaction was almost as strong as hers.
    Her life had been forever
ruined by a stupid and cruel nobleman three years ago. Lina had
taken her in, given her a job and kept her safe. But she wanted so
much more out of life.
    Sil inspired a flame
inside her, a burning she had thought long extinguished.
    Heedless of her near
nakedness she ran down the stairs to find Lina. Antony was kissing
her softly near the empty entrance, most of the girls now engaged
with clients.
    “ Lina, I’m
sorry... please... Antony...” She babbled and moved from foot to
foot in her excitement and apprehension.
    The two vampires turned
to her, their pleasure-glazed eyes clearing when they saw her
running towards them.
    “ Marie,
what’s wrong? Where’s Sil?”
    She gasped from the pain
in her side. She’d run too fast down the stairs.
    “ He... he bit
me and we were... and he left.”
    Tears sprang to her eyes
as she felt the loss of him once more, and she wrapped her arms
around her body. Lina and Antony took a deep breath, smelling her
arousal.
    Marie blushed but pushed
forward. She couldn’t lose the one person who made her feel more
than a mere ghost of who she’d once been.
    “ Would you
take me to him, please?”
    Lina and Antony exchanged
glances. Antony took off his coat and wrapped it around
her.
    “ I
will.”
    Marie gasped as he swung
her up into his arms, still barefoot. Lina’s lover shouldn’t be
holding her like this, it made her uncomfortable.
    “ It will be
faster if I carry you.”
    That did make sense and
Marie forced herself to calm down. She put her arms around Antony’s
neck. Lina reached out and touched her with a gentle hand, stroking
her cheek slowly. Marie smiled at her long-time protector as a red
tear slid down Lina’s cheek.
    “ Go to him,
my girl. I have the feeling you won’t be
