don't
want you to think I'm a poop or something."
    "Then don't be, Lacey. I
want to show you the Bonnets' fantastic 'playroom.' Of course, I have to warn
you—our tour might involve a little kissing."
    "I-I don't mind, Phil. I'm sorry
I've been such a bore. I really do like you."
"Well, then, let me amend myself,
and say the tour might include a lot of kissing, my dear."
    Suddenly wobbly and light-headed,
Lacey giggled.
"Lean on me, Miss Rodriguez, and
we'll get started. Lots of kissing, and something else, definitely, babe.
Lots of something else.

    "How's your friend, Julie?"
"Lace? Oh she's a little drunk,
that's all. Phil's taking care of her—she's in good hands there. He's way out
of her league. Silly girl doesn't seem to realize she's dating the second handsomest
guy on the island."
Julie Parker moved closer to Jamie,
her over-powering stench of nicotine engulfing him as she placed one
cigarette-stained hand adorned with chipped black nail polish on his shoulder,
and put her face near his.
"Why, do I detect a certain
interest there, Mr. Policeman? Isn't one very sexy witch enough for you to
handle?"
It'd be a cold day in hell before
Jamie let his lips do more than brush across those Marlboro stained 'choppers'
of hers. Of course, he was interested. Lacey Rodriguez was the most beautiful
woman on the island, maybe in the state. He'd certainly felt some spark between
them, from the first time he'd seen her shopping in the center of Grim Island.
"Naw, just concerned for a friend
of yours, Julie."
"Good, copper. Because I have plans for us later. Unless you had quite
enough of witches when you worked back in Salem."
"Witches?" Real Ones? "Not me. One of my best friends is a witch. What did you have in mind—"
"Miss Parker, can I speak with
you, please? Now."
    "Principal Sweetling—of course,
sir." Julie backed away from Jamie, straightening her dress, and sticking
out her nonexistent chest. Flashing a smile at her relieved date, she said,
"Duty calls, James. Be back soon. Circulate around—you're still pretty new
on this island. You could do with meeting more people, Luv." Julie Parker
spun on her heel, threaded her arm through Gerald's and disappeared into the
crowd.
    Jamie MacLeod couldn't have agreed
with Julie more about meeting someone new. In fact, as he began to hunt,
prowling his way through the chaotic crowd of half-drunk educators, he already
had someone in mind.

"Phil, who're all these men in
this picture?"
Standing in the corner of the master
bedroom Stede reserved for his computer work station, Lacey was looking at a
framed photo of seven men proudly standing together holding massive amounts of
local fish.
    "Oh, that's last year's annual
town fathers' fishing trip. Most years they head off to Block Island, but last
year they stayed local. With the catch they had, I'd say it paid off."
"What are these big silvery fish
with the narrow stripes?"
On the pretense of taking a closer
look at the photo, Phil nuzzled in close behind Lacey, and began kissing her
shoulders, and the nape of her neck.
    "Those? Striped bass. Damned good
eating, supposedly. Put up quite a fight, I hear."
"And these black ones? There's a
ton of them."
Phil snuggled in closer, his aroused
prick pressing against the inside of his tights, threatening to burst out
through the zipper. Forcing Lacey to lean forward, and place both hands firmly
on Stede's computer desk, Phil deftly positioned himself in the deep cleft
between Lacey's satin-clad cheeks, and began a slow rub. His partner of the
evening leaned back into him, letting a little moan escape before she turned
her face enough to kiss him back.
    "The fish, Phil?"
    "Tautog—they're quite common
around our rocky shores. More good eating, they say. Personally, I hate fish.
More of a meat-eater, myself." Phil continued to rub himself against
Lacey's ass, and kiss the back of her neck. Now his hands joined in, the first
deftly beginning to unzip the back of her
