something akin to this, she loved it until she didn’t. Private kink was definitely the way to go until all her options for the right dom locally were exhausted online. Then she might have to go to an event in person.
Picking up speed, her heels clicked on the pavement, but the trophy in her hand was worth it. To be the prettiest girl in college, or at least have the best boobs in a sorority, was a bit of the college experience. Her mother had wanted her to get a higher education. Being pretty was easy. Getting into college with barely passing high school grades proved much less so. Minny tried to believe she’d find her place in the world at some point.

Colin Zimbel graded papers and sipped coffee without a care in the world. His well-ordered life chugged along as planned. At thirty-eight, he had tenure, a solid reputation and the respect of his colleagues. His time was split between teaching graduate chemistry classes and his own experiments.
A knock on the door made him frown. He glanced at his calendar, and there was nothing. Probably the admin who had yet to learn it was better to wait until Colin was off teaching before she dropped off anything. He rarely required assistance, but having a very attractive woman around had caught his attention. Minny always found a way to distract him.
“Come in,” he said.
Instead of a busty blonde, it was a manly computer geek. Nelson Cannon entered and closed the door behind him. “Thought you were going to leave me hanging in the hall.”
“I’m not one for the casual drop in.” Colin liked Nelson, but the haphazard way the man socialized could be annoying.
“Not casual. I have a particular issue that requires your special assistance.” Nelson sat in one of the wooden guest chairs and balanced a laptop on his knees.
“I’m not explaining anything Star Trek related to you again. Get one of the physics professors to do it.” Colin set aside the stack of papers then rubbed his eyes.
“No, nothing sci-fi. This is real and very much pertinent to your group. I just don’t want anyone to get into trouble, so you have to promise you’ll handle it and won’t report anyone,” Nelson said.
“If you know about something that should be reported, you need to report it. Why bring it to me?” Colin never meddled in gossip or office drama. He’d attend fundraisers and endure dinner parties, but he refused to end up on the wrong side of office politics.
“No, I’m not trying to get anyone in trouble. I think you could really use a project. A little challenge now and then keeps a man sharp.” Nelson changed tactics.
Colin wasn’t fooled for a moment. “This isn’t about work, is it? I’ve told you before I won’t attend any of your bondage events.”
“No events. Hell, you haven’t been to a social mixer in years. Got a sub I don’t know about?” Nelson asked.
Colin sat back and shook his head. In his early years as a professor, Colin had ventured into the local BDSM group that met in person, and Nelson was a fixture there. The men became friends, and it was nice to have someone who understood his work life and personal life and how they fit together. However, the group play had never worked for Colin. Finding one special sub was what Colin really needed. “No, and I’m not interested.”
“You don’t mean that. You’re not seventy. A man has needs, especially a dom.” Nelson shrugged.
“I’ve tried before. It’s no use.” He’d had subs before, and each had left him for someone more fun and outgoing. Even when he challenged them in the bedroom, they grew bored with him.
“So you stop trying to find the right sub? You’re not a quitter. Do you stop every time an experiment fails?” Nelson asked.
Taking a deep breath, Colin didn’t like the direction the talk was headed. “No, I modify the parameters and retest.”
“Exactly. Look. I found this online, and I think she’s perfect for you.” Nelson opened the laptop and set it
