and hopefully another climax in her pussy. His business phone chimed, but he wasn’t about to stop for anything. Analeigh glanced at him curiously, then slid her hands down his torso to clutch his hips. The ringing stopped. He reached up and placed his hand flat against the wall above the headboard to brace himself. His seed rushed out of him and into her. Once again, he phone chimed and he ignored it.
Completely spent, he rolled off Analeigh and closed his eyes. He sighed when the sound finally stopped.
“Don’t you have to answer that?” she asked.
    “Brooklyn will understand.”
“Still, I don’t want to be the reason you get fired.”
Blake opened his eyes to look at her. “I thought you wanted me to quit.”
Analeigh reached out her hand to stroke his chest. “I do. Until then, you have a job to do.”
Blake gathered her in his arms. Once she was settled against his chest, he closed his eyes. “I’ll call her later.”
    “Are you sure?”
“Aye. I need my beauty sleep. Plus, there’s still the matter of your punishment.”
    She giggled. “Yes, sir.”
Blake chuckled. Once again, a feeling of euphoria washed over him. He began to relax but wondered how long this would last. The only way to guarantee this kind of happiness was to find Ian. Starting tomorrow, that was just what he planned to do.

Brooklyn slammed her office phone in its cradle. Where the hell was Blake Callahan? It wasn’t like him to ignore his calls. She had to tell him that Ian had been spotted leaving the area but she wanted to warn Blake to be careful. Not that he would listen. With a sigh, she ran her hand through her long hair, then pushed away from her desk. Should she drop by his condo and make sure he was okay? Perhaps, Blake was patching things up with Analeigh. She’d give him a half hour, then try him again. Wearily, she stood and made her way to the floor to ceiling windows of her office that overlooked the National Mall.
She understood Blake’s dilemma all too well. Her thoughts turned to her own situation. How did things get so complicated with Duncan? It started in Dublin with what she’d thought was a one-night stand. However, that night wasn’t just that. She’d felt something for Duncan that shouldn’t have been in her heart. It shook her to the core. So much so that she began to push him away. Brooklyn had hoped he would take the hint and go away, but he hadn’t.
She heard her office door open and close. When she turned around, her heart leaped into her throat. Duncan was moving toward her. His brown hair was loose around the shoulders of his olive green T-shirt. Jeans covered his legs and she knew from experience that he wasn’t wearing anything underneath them. There was a blaze of anger in his green eyes that caused her to tremble. Not from fear, but from something else entirely.
“What are you doing here?” she asked.
    “Claiming what’s mine.”
Suddenly she was in his arms, being pulled tightly against his solid chest. He crushed his lips against hers to take her mouth in an intense kiss. Brooklyn couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe. She momentarily gave in to his hard yet tender lips that caused her knees to buckle. His silky hair brushed against her cheeks. Her body willed her lungs to inhale and when she did, his sun-kissed scent filled her. Her phone rang, bringing her back to her senses, and she was able to lift her hands to push him away.
“What’s wrong with you?” she chastised as she went to her desk to answer it.
She was too late. The call was going to her voice mail. The number on her LED screen told her that it was Blake returning her call. Brooklyn exhaled and set her phone on her desk, then, turned to look at Duncan.
“We are at work,” she said. “This is highly inappropriate.”
“You haven’t returned any of my calls. What was I supposed to do?”
    “Take the hint.”
    “So you don’t want me?”
    She swallowed. “Yes.”
    “That’s
