probably retreat.
“Hmm, doesn’t look too wimpy to me,” Ryan said looking directly at the bulge in Henry’s jeans.
“You know, I’ve never kissed anyone that had their tongue pierced before.” Henry said, a blush apparent on his cheeks.
    “And?”
    “It felt…interesting.”
    “Interesting? That’s it?”
“That’s all I’m saying.” Henry laughed.
“Uh-huh.” Ryan said. “Did it feel good interesting?”
Henry just looked at him and smiled.
“You know if it feels so interesting in your mouth, imagine how interesting it would feel…” Ryan trailed off as he dragged an index finger down Henry’s chest. The elevator made a noise just then. Henry’s eyes were following the trail.
When it stopped, Henry turned to Ryan and said, “Go ahead, I’ll be there in a sec.”
Ryan was skeptical, but he wasn’t sure what to do so he waited a beat and then went back into the loft, leaving the door open behind him and hoping Henry didn’t take off.

When Ryan went inside, Henry wasn’t sure what to do with himself. A part of him wanted to leave, but it wasn’t as great as the part that wanted to stay. He needed a minute to think. What he was doing made no sense, because for a very long time now he had played by the rules. His rules. Now he was so willing and eager to abandon them. He wanted to chalk it up to pure lust but there was more that he didn’t want to try and define right now. Adrenaline coursed through his veins as well as some liquid courage, both could be attributed to the damn Jäger bombs Ryan had given him. He hadn’t necessarily wanted them, but he didn’t dislike them. He just didn’t want to drink too much. But turning Ryan down sounded easier than it was. He leaned against the wall, willing his erection to go down before he returned to the party.
Ryan still had company, which was kind of a good thing. Henry couldn’t let anything happen as long as they were still there, and his nerve was not up to full capacity yet. He wanted it to be so very much though. He knew it wasn’t a good idea, he was opening a can of worms if he did anything. He also knew Ryan had a boyfriend and how fucked up was he, kissing and rubbing on someone else’s boyfriend? That wasn’t him, and he was already feeling guilty. He was about to go tell Ryan that he had to go when he heard him talking.
“Yeah, it’s been a long night. I think I over did it.”
Was he trying to get rid of everyone? He probably was. He probably was feeling guilty too. Hell, he probably wanted Henry to hear him and take the hint. Henry started for the elevator again. He would text Ryan a goodbye, thanks and sorry when he got home.
“Henry, where are you going? I thought you were going to help me clean up?” Ryan called to him.
    Say what now?
When he turned toward the door, Ryan was leaning against the frame arms crossed watching him.
“Umm, oh yeah? Sorry, I forgot,” Henry said, confused. He went over to the door and turned sideways to get past Ryan who didn’t move an inch causing Henry to brush against him when walking by. Henry went right over to the kitchen counter and started gathering empty bottles. A few other people helped clean up as well. Henry had to do some searching for trash bags but he found them and went back to work. Ryan was at the door saying goodbye to people. Henry looked over to him. Shay was at the door her hands on Ryan’s cheeks, talking to him. She looked over to Henry, smiled, and turned back to look at Ryan. Ryan turned and looked at Henry but he didn’t have the same smile as Shay. Henry would give anything to know what was being said. Soon enough, Shay planted a kiss on Ryan’s mouth and turned to walk out the door. Over her shoulder, she waved her fingers and yelled, “Bye Henry, it was nice meeting you!”
“You too,” Henry called back but she was already out of sight. Soon enough no one was in the loft besides Henry and Ryan. Ryan walked over to where Henry was picking
