spot. Nina’s head whipped her way. “What? Your Josh?”
Normally, it would have made her heart skip a beat to hear him referred to as hers. Not today. “He sure isn’t mine,” she muttered as she motioned for Nina to go. The guy behind them beeped because their car was on an angle half out of their spot.
Sticking her hand out the window and flipping the bird behind her, Nina got them moving. “How the hell? I thought he still had two more years to get through.”
“Early release for good behavior. I didn’t know they did stuff like that.”
“They don’t. So, that’s awesome for you!” As she pulled onto the street, she looked over. “No? Tish! I’d have thought you’d be pissing your panties with joy the second he came home.”
“We got into it on Friday.” She pushed her palms into her tired eyes for a good rub. “We almost had sex, Nina.”
    “Whaaaat?”
More beeping sounded behind them when her nutty friend sat there even after the light had turned green. She just stared over with her dark eyes wide with surprise. “You’ve never fucked a man in your life, and you’re going to start with a frickin’ biker like Josh? Holy shit, girl. Aim high or go home.” She held up her hand for a high-five.
Tish grabbed it and put it on the wheel. “Will you drive, you weirdo.”
“No. Seriously, give me some sugar. You just impressed the shit out of me. I thought the idea of taking a dick was disgusting to you. Should have known that would be true about any dick but his. How the hell would you have taken it, by the way?” She offered her palm, again.
“Nina!” She gave her the high-five.
“I’m not kidding. Those guys don’t mess around. He’d have destroyed you. So why didn’t he? What happened?”
“How can you talk so casually about something like that?” Tish asked as her stomach hopped around with an excitement she probably shouldn’t be feeling.
Nina shrugged. “Because I spent a lot of time in that clubhouse before my dad retired in good standing—I can’t believe I feel obligated to add that every time I mention his retirement. Hell, I still can’t believe he retired after— Anyway, I know what goes on in that place.” She flipped her hair over her shoulder and avoided mentioning her mom’s death as she always did. “A whole lotta fucking, and other stuff. And what’s not casual about it? It’s a body part entering another body part until both owners of said body parts feel real good. What’s the big deal?”
“If it’s no big deal, why haven’t you done it more?”
“Haven’t found a guy whose body part I want yet. Patrick’s was nice,” she commented too casually about her ex. “But would have been nicer if he hadn’t been shoving it into two other girls while he was shoving it into me. Fucking stupid ass cheating bastard. I swear, if I had a daddy like Josh, I’d have sent him in to tear off Pat’s overused cock and slap the shit out of him with it.”
A buzz of shock flew down Tish’s spine. “Josh isn’t my daddy!”
Nina rolled her eyes. “I know that . I meant it in the sexy way, like, come here, Daddy, and show this fucker what you’re made of.”
“You think calling a guy daddy is sexy?” Would Nina be as blasé about calling a guy master? Maybe Tish had made a stink over nothing.
Nina shrugged and looked over her shoulder before changing lanes. “Depends on the guy. Josh? Hell yeah. His stupid VP? Fuck no. He’s a jerk. I’m sorry that he’s your uncle, but Nick is a crude, sex maniac, desperate, leering asshole.”
“Easy,” she muttered. “Like you said, he’s my uncle, and I love him to death so shut it. And how ironic is it that you talk like this, yet you think my uncle is crude.” She ignored the rest of the insults.
“I talk like this around you because you’re my Tish. He’s crude no matter who’s there to overhear.” She reached out and turned the stereo down as she shifted in her seat. “He came into the
