way that made her stomach
muscles clench hard.
Unbelievably, he started to get hard again
inside her.
At her shaky breath, he grimaced. “Let’s
continue this in the shower. I want to know all about your dreams of becoming a
ballerina. And the hot topic of your ass growing.”
He laughed at the glare she gave him. A
moment later, they both groaned as he pulled out of her.
Zach reared back and looked down her
pink sex. “You’re so fucking beautiful down there. I could eat you all over
again.”
Her visible shudder made him laugh,
even as he drifted his knuckles over her still tingling sex.
“But first, a shower. And some food for
you.”
He stood up and held his hand to her.
As Bethany followed his tall, lean
body, she tried to make sense of the myriad emotions tumbling through her.
    She’d just experienced the most
incredible sexual episode of her life. Elation, confusion and trepidation fought
within her.
    ***
Zach sensed her roiling emotions as he
led her to the bathroom.
Heck, he was still reeling from what had just happened on the living room
sofa. He’d never come so hard for so long.
And that command for her to look into
his eyes as he came? Where the hell had that come from? The last thing he
wanted was for any woman to look into his soul.
The blackness of his soul and the
barren echoes of pain that had been a part of him for so long he hardly noticed
them anymore—these were the last things he wanted to share with Bethany;
this sweet, slightly vulnerable yet brave woman who hadn’t run a mile when
she’d caught a glimpse of the sort of man he was underneath the civilized gloss.
But somehow, in fucking Bethany, the
need to connect with her at that point had become visceral, necessary. His need
for her had certainly been enough to propel him onto another Indigo Lounge trip
after he’d sworn never to set foot on one of his planes again.
And, boy, had it almost blown his cock
off with the intensity of it.
His cock, which had woken again when
she’d mentioned her ass and her former intention to be a ballerina, grew
harder.
As they passed a large cheval mirror,
he glanced at her reflection, saw her flushed body still sweaty from their exertions
and fought not to flatten her against the wall and fuck her all over again.
Time, she needed a little time to
recover.
    Truth be told,
so did he.
He still hadn’t shaken off the residual
panic he’d felt when he’d returned to find her gone. The sense of loss and
disappointment had been so acute he’d wondered whether he’d lost his mind. He’d
been in the process of calling his security people to track her down when she’d
turned up. That in itself stunned the hell out of him.
When had he felt this strongly enough
about any woman enough to track her down after she’d walked away from him?
    Never.
And yet the thought of Bethany Green, a
woman he’d known for barely two days, walking away from him—
Soft hands touched his back and his
mind melted.
Whirling, he faced her in front of the
mirror.
Blue eyes, lightening now she wasn’t
caught in the maelstrom of sensation, stared up at him. When they dropped to
his mouth, heat shot into his groin.
The unabashed way she wanted him
excited him more than he’d been excited in a very long time. Her eyes flicked
to his again and he saw the hesitation in their depths.
He cupped her face and tilted her head
up. “You don’t have to be afraid to tell me what you want, Bethany. You hold
nothing back between us. If you want to kiss me, you kiss me. Whatever you
want, you take it. Because I sure as hell won’t be holding back when it comes
to you. Understood?”
Her eyes widened, this time with
excitement and a hint of that trepidation he’d seen earlier. Whatever her
asshole of her ex had done to her, he’d made her doubt her sexuality and
femininity. He barely stopped himself from cursing and waited for her to
answer. When she didn’t, he passed his thumb over her lower lip. Felt it
trembled
