got wet through some streams of saliva pausing to peek at her for seconds until she made a second glance at me.
“Do you think I’m a nice guy to you” sharpened my tone.
Isha griddled at my face puzzling. “Yeah!..why you’re considering bad to yourself”.
I widened to put a smile on my face at her grilling comment.
“You know it touched me the thing you wrote about Anannya in your diary” she softly spoke.
“I do miss her very much now. Indeed the love grew more stronger now for her”.
“I can understand the thing. Yet, I’m helpless. Up to extreme I can console you out” Isha’s voice gets deeper.
She pulled her chair more closer to me. We were seated unlike the normal manner not facing opposite to each other but together in the same line being closer to each other.
“Man you got to write your story fast, I’m in very excitement to know what went wrong between you both” she inserted with interest in her voice.
“It’s going to be long describing about her and the intimacy of both” said I.
“Doesn’t matter, it’s going to be the best story and the experience one could ever fold in life”.
“I believe I made the right choice”.
“You did..and with great courage” she added.
“Hey!! Isha.... Can I ask you something??” my voice said feebly.
“Sure”.
“According to you...Is Love a painful duty” my voice numbed.
“I don’t think there’s any relevant with such obscurity. Indeed Love is not perfectly a duty” she patted her hand on my shoulder.
I gestured to nod my head. Within that time our table was served with Alu Paratha and the chicken gravy. Isha glimpsed at first and then turned her face towards me and closely pushed a smile on her face.
“C’mon lets proceed with the recipe” she ingested me.
She took a bite of Paratha “Wow! It taste excellent”.
I slowly moved around my hand and tore a bit out of my plate to pushed it on my mouth.
“Yeah!! It do really taste good” clutching the glass on my hand.
“You still think about her” Isha grinned.
“I know not exactly what goes on in my mind”.
“You must be crazy freak for her” her voiced sounded vibrant.
“People do say that I’m a crazy freak”.
She glimpsed with long stare at me and after long pause she broke and laughed out louder. We were halting only for twenty minutes as per my knowledge. We almost could complete the diet that served us. The long chit chat between us carried us away avoiding the ambient being felt dump. Finally the plates were laid empty on the table. We shook off to walk towards the bus. The bill we placed it on the table with the chit paper on it. Isha walked in first like as usual. And I followed her behind. She swiftly got into her seat. She settled her hair and her hand bag in proper order. I took my seat beside her. Unknown to this girl yet pretending to know was it the fugitive luck or the real destiny of my life with new intensive kind of experience that grabbed me up. I never felt nothing like this before like the way I was feeling with her beside me. What I felt couldn’t be revealed out but something more then what I didn’t expect. Neither the absence of Anannya nor the presence of Isha could shiver me. It was Isha’s physical presence that kept me fleeting whereas it was the absence of Anannya dwelling in my heart kept me burning.
The clock past to 1:00am by now. Gradually our engine geared it’s roar plucking out the brake. It slowly turned it’s body towards the highway and the accelerator followed.
“So, are you feeling better now with filled pouch” my voice slowly grunted.
“Yeah...a lot better. Perhaps now I can go off to sleep again until I see myself landing in Goa” she added.
The wheel pulled it’s geared and it began to move faster against the wind. No sights of other vehicle, just sometime a fluke of smaller size cars passed off from the other lane. Everyone seemed satisfied now. All quiet some lost into dreams, some still
