his black pants. The zipper imbedded an impression on his bare skin, the pain became pleasure and torture looking for release. Just as her touch left an impression on his soul he’d never forget. He'd known immediately she'd be trouble. She was a woman he wouldn't forget easily. The reality of his situation made him aware she was too young to take into eternity, at least for now.
Claudia pulled from the kiss to stare openly at him.   "What are we doing?" she asked breathlessly. The back of her hand rose to her swollen lips.   Her breathing labored, and her body heated with a sexual need he could feel and sense. His teeth began the familiar ache of his fangs descending and he tried to stop the process.
"Where can we go for privacy?" he asked.
"No," she answered quickly, glancing around to see if anyone was watching them.
Pulling himself back, he dropped his hands from her body. Her eyes widened as she witnessed the shift in his persona. Claudia’s thoughts revealed her angst that her rejection had him on the verge of retaliation. He stilled, waiting for his fangs to retract.
When his teeth returned to normal, he simply said, "Sorry, I guess I read the signals wrong." He turned and started to walk slowly away, adding, "Better be careful, little girl." From the hurt look on her face, the insult struck home. "The next man you lure tonight might not be so understanding. He may take what you're offering, regardless of you only being a tease." He left her confused, knowing he'd turned the situation of his creation back on her.
Even with the distance between them, once he kissed her, he was now able to read her. She stood where he left her, confused that she'd almost allowed him to take her in the stand of trees beside the old house. She felt wearier he hadn't. Fighting within herself, she knew it wouldn't be right. If he'd said or done just one thing different, she might have let him or pushed him to take her.
He didn't hold back his outright laughter, taking the glass of champagne from a passing waiter. He knew he was right, she'd been waiting for him to come and release her from the mundane mores of her everyday world. She was meant for something greater. She'd be his and only his. He would not share her with any other man or woman outside of his brood.
Once she understood her other side, she’d accept her future as his kindred and thank him every day for her rescue. He too would thank the fates that brought them together finally. Just when he’d given up on believing he’d find a woman who’d take to his hand, tonight she arrived as if she’d been waiting for him to find her.

    Chapter 3

Claudia spent a few minutes in the bathroom, staring at the stranger in the mirror. At first, the new clothes were a simple exploration of fashion. Now she realized her nameless kissing partner could be right. But this was a formal party, she reinforced to the face in the mirror. Anybody who really knew her would accept the irony of her choice. Everyday life required her to wear suits and dresses for her office job.
There were many ladies attending tonight in outfits similar to hers. A few others proudly wandered in skimpy avant-garde ultrafashionable designs. In fact, she'd been the most covered, although the satin corset she wore underneath did push her ample chest high and forward as her normal bras never did. The attached garters led her to wear ultra thin silk stocking which left her thighs bare. The memory of his large, slightly calloused fingers on her naked flesh gave her a thrill, and her pussy went moist.
She became angry with herself for letting him make her second-guess herself. Claudia stood to her five foot ten height, adjusted her top and hesitated to let her own fingers drop to her crotch to give herself the few strokes it would take for release. With a deep sigh, her hands dropped and slid the material of her skirt upward. One hand held it bunched up, and her other
