like a little pain with her pleasure, or was she more interested in the gentle?
His cock jumped again, and he watched her gray eyes widen in her pretty peanut-butter face. Suppressing his grin, he pressed closer, let her feel what she did to him, had been doing to him for years. He loved Ryssa so fucking much that it hurt sometimes, but she didn’t see it, and that irritated him beyond anything.
Was he more than interested in getting her to a bed so he could watch her writhe and scream in pure ecstasy? Hell yeah! But that wasn’t all this was about for him. He needed to replace the pain of this day with a memory that would last into eternity, but first she had to let him. Kyran was tired of her running. It was now or never. He’d watched her exchange vows with an asshole who’d never deserved her eight years ago, and four years after that he’d been the one to try and pick up the pieces of what was shattered.
Now here he was four more years later, still trying to convince her that she was more than his world. She was his universe . Stars and galaxies be damned. If he could orbit around Maryssa twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, then he would without even the slightest hesitation.
Today was the day. Today he was going to show his woman that she was indeed, without a doubt, his woman. He’d been waiting for this day long enough. Ever since he saw her hauling ass across campus because she was late for biology. Her long legs carrying her at a pace that he’d never seen a woman move, curly ringlets of hair flying behind her in a messy ponytail with her glasses halfway off her face.
Oh yeah, Kyran had been patient, and now time was up. His smile widened. “Come now then, Rys. You just claimed to know my every move. Of course you can tell me what I’m about to do now, can’t you?”
She mutely shook her head as he pinned her in with his hands on either side of her.
Kyran grinned wolfishly. “I’ll give you two hints.”
    She didn’t speak.
He leaned in close to her ear, inhaled that sweet, familiar scent and simply whispered, “My palm. Your ass.” He had every opportunity at his disposal currently, seeing as how the building was cleared out and it was just the two of them. This was going to be fun; very, very fun.

Ryssa’s hand went to the knob, her pulse pounding furiously. She had every intention of yanking the door open and hauling ass back to the safety of her office, but before she could even reach it, Kyran gripped her wrist and pulled her toward him with enough force that she lost balance. He took advantage of that and scooped her up in a fireman’s carry and started for his office chair.
              “Kyran Micah Alexander!”
“Yes, Maryssa Ann Williams?” He sounded amused, and she didn’t like that at all.
“You put me down right now!”
“No can do, baby. You and I have some things that we need to get straight.” He sat down and pulled her across his lap.
              “Kyran...”
              “Shush,” he said.
              “Did you just shush me?”
“Yes, now quiet. I’m trying to think of the best way to go about this.”
Ryssa froze at that statement. He sounded calm, too calm. “Go about what?”
Kyran just chuckled. “I was serious when I said I was gonna tan your ass, baby. Now how do you want it done? Short quick smacks? Or long hard ones?”
“I swear before all Heaven and Hell, Kyran, that if you—” Ryssa stopped her statement when cool air hit the cheeks of her ass after he’d lifted her skirt.
Kyran gave a low growl as he ran his hand over both globes. “Have you been wearing shit like this under your clothes all these years?” he questioned, tugging at one side of her thong.
              “Kyran, let me
