brother was still in the office.  It was great timing because they could have a conversation and he was sure Dominic was in his office working.  He wanted to have this conversation while Victoria was not around.  The phone rang twice before his brother picked up the line.
“So how is my little brother fairing in Tokyo?” Dominic asked jokingly.
“I’m good.  How is everyone there?”  Marco asked
Dominic could tell by the sound of Marco’s voice that something wrong.
“Everyone is fine.  What’s going on with you, man?” Dominic asked.
“More than I expected when I came on this trip, that’s for sure.”  There was a pause in the conversation.  How was he going to explain this to his brother?
“What’s going on Marco?  I’m not getting a good feeling from this conversation. Is everything alright; do you need my help?”  Dominic was concerned.
“No big bro, everything is definitely not alright.  I hope you are sitting because you are not going to believe what I have to tell you.”  Marco explained everything, as he knew it.  Nothing that he was told was verified, that’s why he wanted his brother to know so that he could see if he could do some investigating and possibly get to the bottom of this story.  Dominic hung up the phone not knowing what to think.  He knew his wife was adopted, but this story was unbelievable.  He needed to think.  He had to handle this situation delicately because his wife was pregnant and he didn’t want to do anything to unduly upset her.  If this were true, it would explain the triplets, with multiple births running on both sides of the family.  He stood and looked out the window of his office.  This shit is crazy.  My wife has an identical twin sister, in Tokyo of all places.  He picked up his phone and made several calls.
Dominic began to think about the situation again, when he heard his cell phone ring.  It was Victoria.  The day had become a blur since he talked to Marco.
“Hey baby, how are you feeling?” he asked.
“I’m good, feeling fat, but otherwise fine.  When are you coming home?”
“It will be about another two hours.  What are the kids up to?”  He changed the subject quickly in hopes that she wouldn’t question him about being late when he said he was leaving work early today to spend some time with the triplets before they went to bed.
“I thought you were coming home early?” she asked disappointed.
“Something came up.  Give them a kiss for me and tell them I will see them in the morning.”
Victoria could tell something was wrong by his tone.
“Are you okay baby?” she asked hoping he would open up.
“Everything is fine.  Just a little kink in a business deal I was working on.”  He lied.
Victoria could tell by his tone that he was not being totally truthful with her, but she was not going to pressure him; he was always concerned with her worrying too much.
“I will see you when you get home.  And baby, If I’m sleeping when you get in, promise me you will wake me up so that we can talk.”
He knew, by her last comment, which she knew he was not being totally truthful and this was her way of giving him a chance to tell the truth.  Was this a truth that he wanted to share with her right now? he asked himself.
Two hours later, he was packing up to leave the office when he got a call.  He sat as the investigator gave him more information than he needed to know.  “I’m emailing you all of the documentation now.  Let me know if you require additional information,” the investigator said before he hung up.  Dominic needed to talk to his wife.  He just hoped that this would not stress her too much.

Marco laid back in the bed next to Monica and she stirred turning to lay on his chest.  He pulled her close to him and settled in for a restless sleep.  Morning came too soon and when his eyes finally opened Monica was dressed
