for Sylvia to quiet her cries, the tremors wouldn't stop, she whimpered as if begging the force to let her go. It seemed forever before the tremors ceased, allowing them to come back to earth. Shawn, breathing hard, weak, backed away, stepped down with knees that wanted to buckle, turned and settled, still shaking, on the bench below Sylvia. He stretched out exhausted, blowing and trying to calm his pounding heart.
Suddenly he heard his wife laughing at him, he wiped the sweat from his brow, turned and looked up at her.
    "What's so funny?" He breathed.
She was laying on her side, giggling at him, "I wear you out ol'man?"
"Wear me out hell! I'm the one who did all the goddamn work, hell! Women have it made, just lay there and enjoy the ride." He blew down his chest and stomach, cooling himself off with the sheen of sweat covering his body.
"Hey, I'm not the one who designed us. Obviously he who has the rod, must do the - the -..."
"The pumpin' baby! The thrustin'! The humpin'! Poundin'; rammin'; hammerin' and slammin'! Damn right - the man! That's me baby! Right here, laying pipe, morning, noon and night! That's right baby, that's right! Who the man?" He bragged laughing, slipping into Jesse's very own words, mood and manner once more, making Sylvia crack up as well, laughing so at him, her legs kicked into the air.
"I said, who's the man?" He asked again.
"You the man baby ... that's all you!" She readily agreed and suddenly broke out in song, "And ain't no-body, love me bet-ter ... makes me hap-py ... makes me feel this wa-a-ay, ain't nobody, love me better than yo-o-o-o-o-ou; 'cause first you put your ar-r-rms around me - and - then - you put - your charms around me ..."
"AI-I-I-OOOOOOOO!" Shawn leaned back and howled like a wolf as loud as he could kicking is legs off the floor, head bobbing.
Surprising Sylvia, she laughed and sang on, "...I cant resist this sweet sur-r-rrender ... all my nights so warm and ten-der ... we stare into each others e-y-y-yes..."
"What we see baby..." He asked turning to look at her.
"And what we see is no surprise ... got a feeling most would treasure ... and a love so deep we cannot mea-s-u-u-ure..." She waved her arms in the air singing, "... ain't no body..." her voice so incredible he stood up snapping his fingers and, "WEO-O-O-O!" He shouted feeling good; making Sylvia roll and laugh deep from the gut, watching him, tears streamed from her eyes as they kept up more post coital, joyful racket.

"You hear dat shit man?! You hear dat? See!? Who howlin'?! Early in the damn morning! She had the nerve to be embarrassed last time; you was there! That's yo'daddy, out there - howling - like he done lost his mind. It's in the mornin'? What time is it? That don't make no sense! Now what kind of shit is dat? See what we go through? See what we gotta endure? I swear, don't make - no sense - at all! People tryin' t'sleep. Don't nobody wanna here that early in mornin'!" Mundo mumbled from his bed, turning over, punching his pillow. "It don't make no sense, they too old t'be actin' like that!"
Benjamin couldn't believe his ears, and lay with his mouth open, laughing, smiling in disbelief.
Just so happened, that their room, was right over the exercise room by the pool. Benjamin rolled to his stomach laughing, trying to hold his hand to his mouth to keep it in. He couldn't believe it when - it, they - woke him up. He'd looked up to see Mundo staring at him from across the room, all bleary eyed, then shook his head. "That right there, why she pregnant now! Gone be again , messing wit' him! I swear, they ain't suppose to be carryin' like that is they? Ain't they too old for that mess?!" He'd grumbled before trying to find a comfortable position to get back to sleep.
"Are they always like that?" He whispered.
"What you whispering for man? They done woke up the whole block!" Mundo leaned up in his bed to look over at Darren in his crib and then at Isaac in his bed. Both were sound asleep. He
