“Nice. Well, don’t worry. I’m here only for two
weeks. One roll in the sack with you will not turn me into a lust-starved
female who clubs you and drags you home with her.”
“I’ve been the Neanderthal here. Willow, I’m being honest
with you. I have a lot of sex.”
“Have? Have? You just bed any broad?”
    “No! I have a…regular.”
“Regular,” she repeated, as though the word was poison. “A
regular what?”
    “Friend.”
Her eyes rounded. “Friend? Playmate? Partner?”
He winced. She’d hit the nail on the head. Yet he knew she
understood none of his lifestyle.
She yanked her wrist from his grasp and stood. “I don’t
aspire to that category.”
    “Okay.”
Her eyes widened so that he thought she’d scream in her
outrage. He grabbed for her arm. “Listen to me.”
“No.” She whipped away. Her strong, naked beauty took the
breath from his lungs. She was tall. What, six feet? She was bigger than most
women. Statuesque was a word invented just for her. But she was honed
and beautifully proportioned. And her body bore the marks of their loving. How
could he let her go after all that fun? All that passion?
Snaking out an arm, he caught her as she stepped away from
the bed. “Let me explain. Over the years I had quite a few partners.”
    “Bully for you.”
“Bottom line is, I bet you haven’t. Have you?”
“No.” Her voice filled with anxiety.
Why was that? Did she think he needed a woman of great
experience? That was farther from the truth. Panicked he’d driven her away he
sought words to make himself clear. Honesty too. He hadn’t had a need for
either in such a long time. “Willow, I’m trying to tell you that I want you
back in this bed again with me. I am not a guy who fucks a woman once and without
reason. I’m—” He halted. Afraid to go on. Wasn’t that a kick in the head? He’d
never been afraid to say his peace to a woman.
She stared at him, her gorgeous breasts swaying, her nipples
red from his kisses and still pointed at him. The look on her face was pensive
and he couldn’t tell what she felt or what she’d say next. He was an idiot.
She was gathering her pride and stepping backward, a hand
out. “You know how to treat a woman right, Wade. I loved every second of what
we did here.” She frowned, turning her head so that her long midnight hair
draped over one shoulder like a dark curtain, her ruby nipples peaking through
to tempt him, tease him, make him want. “I haven’t had many…lovers. And so I
don’t know what you want from me. What you want me to say.”
“I guess I wanted to know if you liked it. Me. If you’d come
back to bed.” He raised his brows in invitation. Sat down on the mattress, his
hand held out to her, beckoning. “If you’ll tell me what you liked or what you
didn’t like then I could go get the pie and we could find new ways to eat it.”
She chuckled, wary, crossed her arms, her luscious breasts
resting on her forearms, one of her legs stretched out so that he could see the
fleshy, wet labia he yearned to suck into his mouth once more. “You like to
make your bed partners happy by filling requests, huh?”
    “You, I do, yes.”
She gulped, thought about that, her dark eyes intrigued.
“Let’s see then. What can I tell you about my experiences with men? I have
never come this often with one man in so short a time.”
He sat up against the headboard, his body naked and clearly
ready to play again. Then he crossed his arms, letting her gaze at what he
could give her. “Good.”
    “I…um…love being eaten.”
“Terrific. I’ll make a note to do it again.”
    “Do.”
“I have variations,” he said, hoping she’d take the lure.
She pressed a hand to her chest. Her breasts jiggled in
laughter. “Be still my heart.”
    “What else?”
Her eyes took on a dreamy quality. “I will henceforth
forevermore ask to see a man’s cock before he fucks me.”
Wade shouted in laughter. “And the reason for
