said leading the way down the hall.
She smiled slightly. He did have a nice rear end, that was for sure. He was wearing jogging shorts and nothing else. So her eyes ran up from his ass to his lovely back and shoulders. His long hair was a lush thick mass that she would have loved to run her fingers through. She shook her head to get rid of that thought as they entered the small dining area. Juices and fruit were laid out for her along with muffins, buttermilk, and pastries. Her stomach rumbled as he picked up a plate and handed it to her while taking one for himself.
“Let us eat and I will explain,” he said. So as they filled up their plates and ate he did just that.
“We are isolated for a reason Sapphira. Can you imagine what the American government, or any government, would do with this lovely valley? We can not have that. The general rule for those who find Carnelian Valley is that after some time, if the inhabitants here feel they trust a person, that person can come and go as they please. You are not trapped here forever. The Carnelians trust me, so I am allowed to leave here when I want. Most people here have no interest in leaving though, so I do most of the duty outside the valley. I enjoy it,” he stated.
“So has anyone else discovered the valley? Accidentally or otherwise?” she asked. She was relieved she would be able to leave and immediately began formulating plans to make sure everyone trusted her.
“Several people. The last one was the Professor John Longheart,” he said. Sapphira gasped.
“You mean he made it? I read all about him and how he was going to find the mythical valley. He has always been a hero of mine. I am glad to hear he made it. So he never wanted to leave?” she asked surprised. The professor was a renowned scientist, greatly revered.
“He left once, a few years back. He went to a place called Costco and bought many boxes of gummy bears. It is a candy we do not have and he likes them. Beyond that, no he has not left. His home is about halfway down the valley. Longheart has continued his studies and contributed immensely to the community,” Ty said.
    Interesting, she thought.
“Anyone else I might have heard of?” Sapphira asked curiously as she popped a handful of the raspberries into her mouth. They were just as good as the ones in her dream.
“Joseph Hardcore came about two years ago. His was a sad tale but he eventually decided to stay and it ended well,” Ty said. He was standing right next to her now and offered her a buttered muffin, then fed her when she agreed. She smiled and pouted when it was gone. He got her another one. She had no problem seducing someone like Ty and going along with the program to get out.
“So what was so sad?” She asked and then took a bite of the bear claw he offered her. She loosened her robe a little so it revealed more of her chest and thighs. Ty noticed as she knew he would.
“He came and stayed for while. He found it by accident and thought he had hit the motherlode. He did not wait or even care for others’ approval and grabbed a handful of diamonds and ran during the night. He was spotted, of course, and I went after him bringing him back. He was screaming and raging as I presented him with his greatest desire, and he has not left since. He too is a contributing member of society. He makes the maple syrup now. It was the one thing he loved above all else, maple syrup. Most of our desires are at their base, simple,” Ty stated.
“He has change quite a bit and is a nice fellow these day. You should talk to him if you so desire,” he told Sapphira as he offered her a blueberry. After last night the blueberries really touched a spot in her beyond them being her favorite food, ever. As she ate a few more of those she untied her robe. Not only was she wanting to seduce him, she had developed the hots for him shortly after they met, so she got to kill two birds with one stone and she would keep her emotions out of it. This
