to was my cousin Byron. He owned his own law firms so he had to have money. That idea crashed when he told me he wouldn’t lend me that type of money. So Micah was next on the list. I knew he had to have the money; he had just signed his contract when I left for Africa. His money only doubled with all the endorsement deals he had while I was gone. He could loan me that and save me from Amadi. That plan came to a halt when I ran into him in whole foods with a child. Once I did turn the TV on, I saw he was in fact engaged. He wouldn’t lend that type of money to me with a fiancé in his ears. I know I wouldn’t let my man give money to his ex-bitch so why would she?
I ended up doing this show, for the money at first. Now I was too deep in and spending my money on whatever I wanted not thinking about Amadi. He’s in Africa and I have been in the states for six months already and I haven’t heard a peep. Tricking is a part of the game and he needed to learn that.

“ Please introduce yourself to the camera, please. The viewers need to know exactly who you are,” the producer instructed me. I fixed my lipstick and my honey colored hair and looked into the camera.
“My name is Patrice Fillmore, and I am the ex-girlfriend of Micah Johnson.”
“How did you become the ex-girlfriend of the infamous Micah Johnson?”
“Micah and I knew each other during high school and after. I was there when he signed his major contract. During that time I wanted to study in Africa, Micah didn’t want me to go because I was the love of his life. Stick around this fall for the premiere of The Real Ex’s of Miami” I winked my eye and licked my lips.

Once I was finish, I was able to leave. I happen to bump into Kareema on my way out. She was looking around being suspect and I had to approach her and let her know I knew what she was thinking.
“Did you film yet?” I asked, reapplying my lipstick. She popped a fresh piece of gum into her mouth and responded.
“Not yet, I’m about to soon. How did your taping go?”
“I’m the star of the show so you know it will be hot. One thing, don’t think you will get me off the show. I was approached not the other way around. We could run the show together and I can show you how to get down with niggas with money. Now if you choose not to get down with me, stay out my way and I’ll stay out yours.” She looked at me and stopped touching up her make-up.
“Bitch, please, if you were so call getting niggas with money you wouldn’t be here on this show and lying about being a side chick. Move out my way and let me go film.” She pushed passed me and walked into the filming room. It took everything in me not to run up on her ass and slap the shit out of her. What did she mean I lied about being a side chick? How did she know?
I walked into my condo to complete silence. I popped open a bottle of Chardonnay and got me a huge wine glass. I didn’t stop pouring until the cup was filled and reaching the rim of the glass. I sipped the chilled wine while looking over my mail and checking my voicemail. No voicemail stuck out to me so I sat looking out the window. I finished my wine and secured my condo before I took an Ambien and drifted off to sleep.
