fault-”
“Well,” he interjected, “I’ve been distracted, too.” Giving
me one of his sweetest smiles, he shrugged. “I realized something earlier,” he
sighed. “This has become so complex, and the truth is, it doesn’t need to be. At
least, we don’t need let all that other...crap,” he chuckled, with a sweeping
slice of his hand, “affect us.”
I couldn’t help smiling right back at him. He painted a
tempting picture, but reality would never match it. “It is going to affect us,
though,” I mumbled.
“Come back to my place,” he quickly suggested.
“Alex,” I groaned, shaking my head. “I don’t think-”
“Let’s not think,” he urged, snatching his hand forward and
grasping mine. “We’ve done enough of that for a few days.”
A small part of me wanted to argue with him, to tell him
that we would just be making things even more chaotic than they already were.
But a much larger part just wanted to follow his lead: forget everything and
everyone. Before I even registered what was happening, Alex was leading me from
the plane and walking me to his car.
It took over an hour and a half to drive into New York,
during which time we shared heating glances but very few words. I suspect we
were both frightened of breaking the spell.
Alex took my hand once more as he encouraged me to climb out
of the passenger seat of his black Porsche 911 and follow him to the elevator
in his building’s underground parking lot.
The heavy doors clunking closed, Alex lunged forward. He
pushed me against the wall and kissed me with ferocity.
He caught me off guard, but I wasn’t complaining. The
tension between us erupted and, as our tongues tangled and groped, we both
began pawing at the other’s clothes. Within seconds, my skirt was up to my
waist and my underwear was falling down my calves.
Refusing to remove my mouth from his, I uncoordinatedly
stepped out of the panties. I’d managed to get Alex’s flies undone and in a
panting flurry, I pulled him toward me. One of my legs immediately lifted and I
wrapped it around his waist. His hand supported the back of my knee as he
jerked his hips forward, entering me in a desperate, sensual thrust.
    “Hmm,” I mumbled against his lips, squirming. He was right;
we had been making things much more complicated than they needed to be. The
only thing I wanted was him. “Alex,” I squealed, as he began to drive into me
with a pounding, frenzied rhythm.
The growling in his chest reverberated deliciously through
me, as his face took on a pained expression of concentration.
“I want to be with you,” I breathlessly blurted, the words
distorted by the air pushed from my lungs each time he slammed his muscular
body against mine.
    “Ugh,” he grunted. “Ugh, ugh!”
“I love you, Alex,” I screamed as his large member continued
to stoke my desire ever higher. My orgasm came unexpectedly, causing both legs
to shake violently and my breath to come in shallow, strangled pants.
“Yes!” he hissed, as he held himself within me and savored
the rolling waves of pleasure that crashed over him.
It had begun quickly, it was over quickly and, all too
quickly, Alex was disengaging from me.
“Sorry,” he whispered, kissing me gently as he smoothed my
skirt back down my thighs before tucking himself back into his pants.
“I...umm...just couldn’t wait any longer.” As the elevator car reached his
floor and the doors dinged open, he rapidly bent at the knees and scooped up my
discarded panties before slipping them into his jacket pocket. “Come on,” he
urged, holding the door for me.
On wobbly legs, I tried to make my way gracefully out of the
elevator. “There’s no need to apologize,” I told him, slipping one arm through
his in the hope that, if my legs gave out, he’d be able to catch me. “I needed
you, too.”
He smiled, as he walked me down the corridor, passing two
doors before we reached his. “Still wish I hadn’t been in such a rush,”
