headboard to help ride me.”

Cara sank back until she was practically sitting in Trelon’s lap with her back against his front. The position forced him deep into her. She pulled up on the headboard then let her weight pull her back down on him, forcing his cock deeper and deeper. Trelon wrapped his hands around the front of Cara playing with her breasts as she rode him moving faster and faster as the wave built until she slammed down onto his cock crying out as her body jerked. Trelon’s breath caught in his throat as he watched tiny scales of deep burgundy and amethyst ripple over her neck and down her chest. When she fell forward catching her head on her forearms where she was still hanging onto the headboard, he couldn’t stop his trembling fingers from reaching around to touch the faint web of membrane spidering out over her back as her wings began to form. Trelon’s dragon roared in triumph to see the birth of its mate while Trelon the man felt tears mist his vision. His true mate was born.

The dragon fire had lasted another two hours before the last wave had finally crested leaving both of them exhausted. Trelon had barely had the strength to carry his mate into the cleansing room to bath her exhausted body. It had only been the desire to make sure she was comfortable and well that had driven him. He had bathed Cara and gently laid her down in their bed before unlocking the doors and letting his symbiosis in. He wanted it to check Cara out to make sure there were no lasting effects of the transformation. It had rubbed against him as it walked through the door leaving ribbons of gold that formed back into the wrist and arm bands he normally wore. Trelon guessed that was its way of forgiving him. Once in the bedroom, his symbiosis jumped up onto the bed and laid down on the outer edge up against Cara’s small form. Tiny threads of gold began moving over her. It must have liked what it found because small wrist and arm bands formed over Cara as well as tiny earrings, a necklace, and ankle bands. Trelon looked down on the tiny figure of his mate lost in his big bed. He felt an intense rush of emotion at the fear of anything happening to her. She was so small, so delicate he would need to keep her in his rooms and away from the other males who could easily hurt her. His world was a beautiful place but it could also be a very dangerous one. There were all manners of creatures, both two-legged and more, that could take her away from him. He would keep her wrapped in his living quarters where nothing could ever harm her. With that decision made, Trelon motioned for his symbiosis to move and he crawled into bed next to Cara, pulling her tight in the circle of his arms where she would always be safe.

Chapter 11
Trelon stretched moving his hand out to draw Cara closer to him. He was going to have to teach her to snuggle up closer when they were together. When his hand encountered cool bedding instead of warm flesh, he jerked awake with a pounding heart. Where was Cara? Where was his true mate? Trelon’s dragon growled in fury at its missing mate.

“I know. We’ll find her and bring her back.” Trelon snarled in displeasure.

Trelon threw back the covers of the bed and dressed quickly. Closing his eyes, he focused on his symbiosis demanding to know the location of his mate. When he caught visions of her surrounded by a group of males, he snarled loudly. Trelon slammed his feet into his boots and took off out the door almost running down the tall female standing outside it.

“Trelon.” N’tasha said breathlessly. “I need to speak with you.”

Trelon’s dragon growled and snapped at N’tasha’s hand that had grabbed him as he moved out the door. N’tasha jerked back startled. Trelon took at deep breath and tried to calm his dragon.

“I’m sorry, N’tasha. I can’t talk with you now, perhaps later.” Trelon said harshly. His mind was focused solely on the fact his mate was near other males.
